Extremely smily people who welcome you like if you were family, excellent traditional food (not a huge choice like in the touristic places, but sooooo much better, everything fresh and homemade almost in front of you...:-)).

Actually you can see your food cooking on the many spikes in the coffee room where the local people come to play cards watching football.

I've been living in Greece for long (long time ago), and I'm glad that places like this one still exist.

And the cherry on the cake 🍰: they have one of the best tsipouro I've drank in a long time.

All together, for me it was a small part...

The true spirit of Greece. Tasty, plenty, smily.

Everything is fresh, homemade, traditional.

It stands on a lovely square in front of the village church, with trees and flowers au around.

There's a real Greek (young...:-)) grand-mother hidden somewhere in the kitchen making the 🪄 dishes, the owner is super friendly and he cooks amazing grilled meat.

You can check the cooking process yourself in the main room, where the meat is slowly cooking on a huge barbecue.

A wonderful authentic experience, far from the touristic fake offers.

Als je echt authentiek Griekenland wilt beleven dan is deze zaak wel een must. Kijk wel uit wat je besteld want het is niet alledaags wat er beschikbaar is. Ik houd er wel van om orgaanvlees van het schaap te proberen maar als je daar niet tegen kunt is varkensvlees wellicht een betere optie. Wij vonden het een belevenis, jammer van de oncomfortabele stoelen anders waren we langer gebleven.

Tip om te parkeren: Klein stukje door rijden als je het plein (wat van de weg niet zichtbaar is) aan het rechterzijde passeerd, dan krijg je na ongeveer 100 meter ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid aan je linkerzijde. Klein stukje teruglopen, gelijk de trap omhoog pakken en een stukje van dit authentieke bergdorpje doorlopen. Het plein bevind zich dan...
