Sunset Bella Vista - Restaurant — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

We have visited the best reviewed restaurant in Athani, but now I can see, it is not the best, just the cheapest. First of all, we have waited about 10 minutes for table, we were invisible to the waiter who passed us several times, we couldn't sit anywhere, because all empty tables were trashed. Somebody from the kitchen came and prepared table for us. Finally, seated, waiter speaks casually, after ordering a few meals, beers and wine, he just came with drinks, throws everything as fast as possible, without providing glass, we have must ask for glass, i'm not sure, if he thinks that we can drink wine straight from the jug. When delivered food for 4 people, it turned out that only one person received plate, rest of us must eat from the table. Food was not terrible, but service...

Great food, great service and especially wonderful place to sit down after a nice swim from the beach further down...the olive oil they're using for the food are actually produced by them locally. Theyre also selling olive oil (great quality) which i bought for a price which is the cheapest and most reasonable i could ever find in the whole island.. the owner opened the bottle i wanted to buy to make me try it first just to be sure it tastes the same as the ones that they're using bc she said that the taste may be different due to the reason that they may not be from the same barrel.. very honest people!!! Well, nice view as this taverna is well located :), we had great musaka and excellent fried cheese balls. We also got frozen glass for radler which was great! Only pork gyros seemed to be a bit tired to be honest (not fresh)…regarding the staff - probably wrong timing.. felt a bit like we bother them with our food order and later with payment…maybe was just bad timing as people are saying that they are...
