Probably the only restaurant on the island of Lemnos, that I can genuinely deem as mediocre, which is definitely not what i expected myself to say about the place. The restaurant presents itself as fancy and there is a feeling that you’ll get some new interesting and bold meals and flavours. That however wasn’t the case for me. The food was somehow bland and all meals had a bizarrely similar flavour profile regardless of how different they were in nature. Certainly none of it was terrible and I had a fee standout meals, but I came in with the expectation for way more. And the prices were rather high for mediocre meals. Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was tasteless, overcooked, and simply not enjoyable. None of us were able to eat our mains. The venue was also full of flies and wasps, with some even falling into our wine. Despite all of this, we were still charged the full amount.
What made the situation worse was how our feedback was completely overlooked. The (potential) owner became defensive and argumentative, claiming no one had ever complained before and suggesting that, because the place is always fully booked, our opinion couldn’t possibly be valid. It felt like he was implying we were just trying to get something for free—or worse, that we were being unreasonable—which couldn’t be further from the truth. Out of courtesy, we clearly stated we weren’t asking for a discount. Still, no effort was made to acknowledge our experience, offer a gesture of goodwill, or even apologise.
Sadly, this visit left us feeling not only disappointed by the food, but also dismissed and unwelcome. Based on both the food and the service, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending this place.

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι χαίρομαι που σας άρεσε τόσο πολύ το δικό σας λάδι. Κι εμάς μας άρεσε...τόσο, που αναρωτηθήκαμε μήπως αντί για κυρίως πιάτα, θα έπρεπε να μας σερβίρετε απλώς ένα μπουκαλάκι λάδι και μερικές φέτες ψωμί, πιο safe.
Όσο για το μπέρδεμα με τον ροφό… ίσως να μας μπέρδεψε η υφή του ή η γεύση του, ή μάλλον η απουσία και των δύο. Το σίγουρο είναι ότι, ακόμη κι αν ήταν φρέσκος, είχε περάσει δύσκολη μέρα.
Κατανοούμε φυσικά ότι η εξοχή έχει έντομα, κι εμείς την αγαπάμε τη φύση. Απλώς είχαμε την εντύπωση πως όταν κάποια από αυτά κάνουν βουτιά στο κρασί μας, κάποιος από το προσωπικό θα μας ρωτήσει αν θέλουμε καινούριο ποτήρι κρασί κι οχι αν φταίει ο κάμπος.
Όσο για τον ιδιοκτήτη, ήταν πράγματι ειλικρινής: μας είπε ευθέως ότι είμαστε οι μόνοι στον κόσμο που δεν ευχαριστήθηκαν. Ξεκάθαρο και πρωτότυπο. Ίσως το πρόβλημα να είναι όντως εμείς. Μακάρι!
