MOLOS Seaview — Restaurant in Macedonia and Thrace

I will give 1 star due to poor service!! This is our 6 time when we visit Kavala, and the first time this restaurant, but we never encounter so poor service in Greece! Everything went fine, we even received a table without reservation, even if the restaurant was almost full so this is a big +, but the problem started when the guy who served us asked us from what country we are...i answerred that we are from Romania and the distraction started... We only received half of what we ordered and the other half, after maybe 1 hour , after we were preparing to leave...more than that, they forgot to bring us 1 dish! Also, i asked him many times to come to our table because i wanted to ask him about the rest of the food, but he never had time for us! Strange thing is that near our table, the same guy, had the needed time to put to the package the leftovers for a client, who asked the remaining fish, the remaining alcohol and even the remaining ice!!! Can i call this discrimination? I hope not !! but even if they don.t like romanians, maybe they should reconsider the way they treat us, taking in consideration that we were with 4 small hungry childrens... Beside this incident, the food is great! The location of the restaurant is also great! I am sorry that i have to leave such review, because maybe the rest of the employes, the chef that prepared the food and also the restaurant owners are working hard to keep such great bussines, but this what...

Visited Molos three times whilst on holiday with the family and every time it was fantastic.

The restaurant is a modern taverna that is nicely decorated. The seating is along the pier which is outside and at the end of the peer is the internal seating. The external seating is nicer and a bit cooler than the internal seating. I would recommend that you book in advance for the external seating. Views from everywhere (inside and out) are fantastic. These include Kavala city and the sea.

The food was great every time and the catch of the day fish was exceptional. Staff will fillet the fish at your table. Ther seafood we loved was the octopus, calamari and steamed mussels. Salads are generous and there's a great variety to choose from. The meat dishes aren't as extensive as the fish dishes and we tried all of them and all were great. The stand out meat dish was the soutsoukakia (grilled meat balls). For drinks there is a generous selection of wines and beers and the one we liked the most was the white one from Limnos (sold in jug measures).

The atmosphere is very relaxed with the scenic views and you can easily spend a few hours enjoying the food. The staff were always polite and attentive.

Prices are reasonable but the catch of the day fish is expensive and paid by the weight of the fish. For the quality of the fish its worth paying the extra price.

Molos Seaview Restaurant in Kavala is truly a gem and an absolute must-visit if you're in the area. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. For the main course, I had the sea bass, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had—flaky, tender, and seasoned just right. The flavors were rich but balanced, and you could really tell the quality of the ingredients used.

The service was also outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Even though the restaurant was busy, the food arrived quickly without compromising quality.

In short, Molos Seaview is the perfect place for anyone looking to enjoy fresh, delicious seafood with a stunning view and top-notch service. Highly...
