Coconut Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Aegina

Single use plastic cups are used here when renting sunbeds a few metres from the beach. Children were taking plastic cups into the sea with them. I asked to speak to someone in charge about why they choose to serve some drinks in glass and others in single use plastic cups and the waiter was completely uninterested and unhelpful in arranging for me to speak to the manager. This is not even a take away service as we were renting sunbeds and spending hours on the beach, so the choice to use plastic seems crazy especially considering the environmental impact being so close to the sea.

I informed the waitor that if my complaint wasn't listened to I would write a negative review. I was clear. It is not my job as a customer to chase after the manager wherever he may be lurking. The reason of breakage is a beyond ridiculous excuse to still be using single use plastic. Saying that it's fine to be backward and environmentally harmful because other business may still be doing it is a ridiculous excuse as well....

The design is really cool, with different kind of seats and tables and the music was not too loud, staff was friendly, setting up a good vibe. I haven't checked the beach area, only the bar itself. My cocktail was very good and 10 euros it's normal price for cocktail. My only issue is that for a bar that's called coconut beach bar, and since I couldn't see coconut palm trees for obvious reasons, I kinda expected to have some coconut cocktails but on the menu I didn't see any and when I asked about it the waiter seemed quite perplexed. But except that misunderstanding the bar overall is really cool place to chill...

Stayed there yesterday. Great sunbeds, superb view, near the beach. The beach bar nice, food average. Why i dont give 5* its because at the end the waiter asked me to pay for something that I already paid. Because I argued with him and I staied ferm on my position that I already paid cash for that service, I told him that I gave him.a tip also, he remembered after that that i paid.
