MARKET-CAFE 'TASOULA' — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

We went to visit Preveli and on our way back, went looking for something to eat/sit for a coffee - a bit off the beaten path and stumbled upon Tasoula's. When we showed up we were greeted with a handshake and "how are you?" by Tasoula. We originally just wanted a place to have coffee, but ended staying for several hours speaking with Tasoula using a translator app and sharing stories back and forth. We ended tasting homemade schnapps, homemade bread, and homegrown vegetables. For desert, we were offered honey plus the comb and of course another schnapps. Stumbling upon Tasoula's little café was a truly a highlight of our visit to Crete. It felt authentic, genuine, and our lovely host made us feel welcome. Our only regret, is that we couldn't stay longer and eat more food. Can highly recommend Tasoula's and it's a place we look forward to coming back to next time we're on the island! Tasoula resturang är en dold pärla som vi upptäckte på vägen till Souda beach .

Orden räcker knappt till för att beskriva den fantastiska kvinna som heter Tasoula som driver detta ställe. Hon var otroligt vänlig och stället hade en mysig grekisk atmosfär som tog oss med på en resa till en annan tid.

Maten som serverades var helt enkelt magisk. Allt var tillagat med kärlek och omsorg, och smakerna var helt underbara. Det bästa var att all mat var helt ekologisk, från den färska olivoljan till den läckra osten.

Vad som verkligen imponerade mig var kvinnans generositet. Hon överträffade verkligen mina förväntningar genom att vara så givmild och omtänksam. Det var tydligt att hon verkligen brydde sig om sina gäster och ville att vi skulle ha en fantastisk upplevelse.

Trots att mina ord kanske inte riktigt kan återspegla den verkliga upplevelsen, kommer du att bli överväldigad av den varma atmosfären och de fantastiska smakerna som väntar på dig. Ge dig själv den presenten att upptäcka detta ställe och du kommer inte att ångra det. Jag...
