We LOVED this restaurant immediately. Stavros was a gracious and attentive host who made us feel at home in his family’s restaurant (family-owned in Sellia since the 50ies, with pictures on the wall to prove it). The atmosphere was cozy and friendly, never stuffy or touristy. It feels like a place that locals and regulars enjoy. The traditional food served there reminded me of my grandma’s like juicy rotisserie chicken in wine sauce, or the jewel for me Melitsanes Papoustrakia or stuffed eggplant with julienned carrots, onions, and zucchini topped with some local sheep’s cheese (just enough to add that flavor without overwhelming the dish) and a slice of tomato. The whole menu is not available all the time. That evening, 4 main dishes were being made. I liked that attention to quality over quantity and freshness/seasonal products. And it was super affordable! Will definitely go back there. One last thing to leave you salivating while I’m going back there, the view is magnificent. We ate that wonderful meal overlooking the small bay of Plakias, down in the distance. Highly recommend. PS: just went back one last time (on this trip!). Loved it, again! Our hostess was wonderful....

Our extended family of 9 had dinner here twice while staying in Plakias for a week. We stumbled on it the first night and were so delighted, we made sure to come back a second time and would have gone back a third time if we could. We sampled a wide range of dishes all of which were fantastic-- especially the pickled baby onions, the zucchini fritters, the fava dip, the lamb stew and so much more! There's something for everyone here, and the chef clearly is talented and pours love into the dishes. The service was fantastic-- We bought our server a beer we enjoyed him so much. The atmosphere is very relaxed, village style. Can't recommend this...

Io e mia moglie di ritorno da agios kalambaros spiaggia vicino a hora sfakion sulla strada principale attraversiamo il paesino di Sellia io vedo l'insegna di una taverna dai colori verde salvia penso subito sarà il posto dove andare a mangiare alla sera esprimo la mia idea 💡 a mia moglie che immediatamente dice che anche lei aveva avuto la medesima sensazione . Arriviamo al nostro appartamento in un paesino a 6km dal posto. Tempo doccia e vestirci e siamo in strada per questa taverna. All'arrivo pur non avendo prenotato siamo accolti dal sorriso del proprietario che ci fa accomodare sul balconcino. Poi con premura ci porta il menù spiegandomi e scusandoci che uno dei piatti purtroppo era finito ciò mi Ha Fatto molto piacere in quanto è segno di attenzione al cliente menù ricco di molte specialità locali. Optiamo per il pesce sea brass e sea bream e come antipasto zucchini fritti il tutto accompagnato da 1/2 litro vino bianco locale Fatto l'ordine vediamo arrivare un'insalatina di melanzane accompagnata da grissini locali ed il vino che ci viene spiegato trattasi di uva locale molto aromatico "Buono" di più in seguito arrivano le zucchine fritte per niente unte e buonissime nei tempi giusti arrivano I due piatti di pesce guarniti da verdure al vapore di un aspetto splendido Al dunque il pesce freschissimo cotto in maniera perfetta e servito con salsa a parte a base solo di olio limone e origano anche ciò molto professionale mangiamo tutto di gusto e di più Al momento del conto ci viene offerto con professionale spiegazione un dessert a base yougourt e uva sciroppata speciale con raki finale.
