Unfortunately, I had more expectations from this restaurant. We ordered salad, fish and fried zucchini. The waiter told us they were out of zucchini, so we ordered home made fries instead. Our astonishment came from the fact that the whole time we were in the restaurant (about an hour and a half) portions of fried zucchini continued to come out of the kitchen for other people. When paying the bill, we asked the waiter why we were told that the zucchini were out of stock when other tables were constantly being served, and he tried to cover up the situation by saying that the zucchini had been ordered since before we ordered, which was certainly not the truth. He asked us if we wanted to be served zucchini now, which was absurd because we had already eaten and proof that despite what he said they had in stock. They could have just said they had a lot of orders for zucchini and we would have to wait. So we would consider whether to do it or order something else. As for the food - some of the potatoes were not fried well........the tomatoes and cucumbers in the salad were tasteless. Higher quality ones can certainly be purchased to offer delicious salads. With all that said so far, I will certainly not be visiting this restaurant again and will not rate it higher...
Read moreI recently visited this busy restaurant while in transit to Istanbul. This spot seems to be a favorite among visitors from Turkey, offering friendly and prompt service in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant has an extensive selection of beverages, including wine and beer. The open white wine I tried was quite satisfactory—good and dry.
As I was dining alone, my experience with the menu was somewhat limited. I started with beetroot and taramasalata, both of which were decent. However, the main dish, a pork schnitzel, was a letdown. Despite its generous size, it was dry and lacked flavor. The accompanying fries were soft and below average.
Based on the popularity of the place and the other options on the menu, I would consider giving it another try, perhaps opting for fish next time. If you’re in the area and looking for a cozy spot with a large beverage selection, it might be worth a visit, but I’d recommend exploring different...
Read moreThe place is always crowded, we preferred to sit outside. We waited for about 20 minutes to place our order. But after we ordered, the food we wanted came quickly. The beers we ordered came after the meal. The employees were generally interested in the customers inside, and we constantly tried to make eye contact with the employees outside when we wanted something. We ate calamari, fried zucchini and roasted eggplant. It was a bit tough compared to other places we've eaten in Greece, but not bad. The eggplant and zucchini were delicious. The lemon mayonnaise sauce was a success. Toast and water are charged separately. In general, we were not overly satisfied because we had to wait for someone to come when we wanted something. When we asked for the bill, we had to wait a long time for the change. Paying by card is a better option. They also offer dessert at the end of the meal. We paid 37€...
