Taverna Thea — Restaurant in Municipality of Ancient Olympia

We stopped in late night to pick up some dinner and take it back to our AirBnB. While we waited, we had a vodka and fresh squeezed OJ...fantastic. Ordered the Greek meatballs (so flipping tender), fried zucchini balls (very good), the Greek salad (refreshing). My memory is horrible, because I wish I could remember the name of the woman that helped us....very friendly and we had a nice talk waiting...

Perfect place to have quality food after visiting Ancient Olympia. Just a short drive away (5 minutes), the tavern offers balcony and shaded areas under the trees with great views.

The food was perfect, meat was fresh and very well cooked and the staff were very friendly and helpful with our choices.

Will definitely visit again next time we are...

My wife and I ordered all the classics, tsatsiki, Greek salad, fried aubergines, lamb chops and meat balls. The portions were huge (ask for half-portions if you can't eat much) and everything was made of fresh and high quality products. We were extremely pleased with the service and atmosphere.
