Hotel Europa Olympia — Hotel in Municipality of Ancient Olympia

First visit to Greece, staying at this hotel was a highlight. Enjoyed the trip to the hotel with the views breathtaking. From the minute we walked in we were greeted warmly. Lovely clean surrounds, grounds neat and tidy, hotel immaculately presented. We ate delicious food as if it was lovingly prepared by our own mother, the meals generous and beautifully presented. Fresh bread with olive oil was placed on the table to nibble on. The wait service arrived within minutes greeting us and handing out menus. An explanation of meals was provided with a wonderful warmth. Meals were fast to arrive. Spacious table seating and the atmosphere delightful as beautiful soothing music played in the background while we ate. Our room was very clean, dust free, and the towels were lovely and soft. Beds were very comfortable and aircon fantastic which heated up the room quickly if you are the type that needs that little bit of extra heat like I do. Spare blankets were in the closet if required and the pillows propped up on the bed gave you a choice of low or high height. Everything in the room worked, sufficient power-points, great size tv, hairdryer as well. Our balcony gave us a view of the pool and the surrounding landscape which was beautiful to look at. The Breakfast buffet was amazing, everything presented beautifully. There was a huge assortment of freshness including fruits, sweet and savory assortments. A culinary delight to choose from including for those that may be fasting for Easter. Was hard to choose my breakfast as everything looked so good. I choose to limit my bacon and egg portion so I could fit in as much as possible. I was amazed at the selection of teas available, loose leaf varieties that were also for sale in the hotel foyer as well as the delicious olive oil in many different sized containers as perfect gifts for those wanting to “taste” Greece. I will return to this hotel on my next visit as I found everything...

Amazing one of a kind. The hotel is renovating the rooms are jaw dropping,(bed size 200x200cm, bathroom window to the room and the view) I don’t have enough stars to rate how excellent the hotel, the personal, the infrastructure and the location is.

Plus you can eat on the “Garden” inside an olive grove swing the stunning sunset on the Olympia valley…just magic. Food was also very nice. Fruit trees and fruit baskets everywhere for the guests to enjoy for free (when season).

Room Amenities also very well selected. Across the reception they have a very nice small shop with local products (sooo goood).

The pool area is like hidden inside a green garden part of the surrounding forest… with shadow under the trees or shade for you to choose.

Last but not least, the breakfast…nicely picked local products with uniques easy arrangement(maybe I’m Greek but my husband’s not and he felt a blessed to enjoy so many Greek goodies)

You travel by group or alone I believe 1-2 days at least in this hotel is an oasis, how relaxed you feel by the top service and the smile of every person the sense of tranquility and hand picked selections everywhere around like someone has already taken care...

Such a lovely hotel with staff who go above and beyond to help and provide an unforgettable experience. The pool is great, the bar food is fab for lunches and the breakfast has a huge variety and choice so everyone has something they enjoy. The cleaning staff are incredible and our room was spotless every day. All the staff are amazing here. Marilena is one of these exceptional and wonderful people. Marilena made our trip, she sorted out car hire for us - a company that collected us to get the car and picked up the car from the hotel to save us a trip. She helped sort out the football and arranged for it to be screened in the second seating area despite it being a subscription channel, and the hotel signed up! It was the first match of the new Premier League season being played and we didn’t want to miss it! Marilena made sure we had all the current information about local businesses and areas we may like to visit plus she got to know us so quickly and became a friend who we could chat to daily!
