Andriakon — Restaurant in Municipality of Andros

Avoid, especially if you are vaccinated! I came in out of curiosity, the owner was there and we started talking. Unfortunately the Covid theme came up, he asked me if I was vaccinated and I said yes. The tone changed instantly to a very aggressive way, he "suggested" me to leave the island, telling me that "people like me" are not welcome among other rather hostile thoughts. (I stayed 1 week on the island and everyone was friendly and smiling and I never touched on the Covid theme). To end up telling me that if I wasn't going to buy anything I could "take my body out of his shop". The fact that he earns his living by selling his products to people he despises so much and whom he considers to be the cause of his unhappy life (since because of "us" and the vaccination pass he could not leave the island, that he had been harassed because of "us"... ) seems to me extremely hypocrite and loaded with double morality. He might as well put a sign saying: "forbidden to vaccinated" at least that would be...

We visited Andriakon 3 times in a row during our latest stay on the island. It keeps its products and services top quality stable. This is a very important parameter for a successful f&b business.

We are not vegeterians at all but even though we were super happy with what we ate.

Just to pinpoint the owner's personality he happily walked to the port where we had a boat - stop on our way to a nearby island, to deliver to us one of his fine wines! We called from the boat and we are now enjoying an amazing rose wine on our way to Mykonos.
