We found this little cafe/restaurant on the map and decided to visit. We thought the little village looked nice and all the cafes and places to stay had good reviews and seemed quite low key.
This was a little gem. The carob trees provide shade over little wooden tables and it sits above a valley. We had some home made lemonade. Then a section from the menu including tsatziki, watermelon salad, dakos, meatballs and beef lemonata. Everything was excellent and the shop seems genuinely to have local produce not the mass produced tat in most shops in tourist areas.
The waitress was friendly, they offer coffee, wine, and local craft beers. The wine is locally produced. We were in the early evening but they were setting up for music so 8pm. I'm not sure how often this happens. The produce is part of a local co-op.
Unfortunately this was the last day of our trip or we would certainly have visited again. The neaeby Natalia's house looked like a lovely place to stay.
