We were absolutely delighted with our visit to this charming, family-run Greek taverna. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere – genuine hospitality is truly at the heart of this place. The owner’s family is incredibly friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home from the very beginning.

The cozy terrace right by the street is especially lovely. It's the perfect spot to sit outside, enjoy your meal, and watch the relaxed street life go by. The vibe is casual and pleasant, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was definitely a highlight: fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared, and bursting with authentic flavors. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I can particularly recommend the freshly grilled meat dishes and the homemade tzatziki – simply delicious!

I had a great meal here on October 31, 2024. The bread brushed with olive oil and herbs, the olive paste and crushed tomatoes, all put to shame any other bread basket in Crete. The beet salad was fantastic made of lightly pickled beets with plenty of raw garlic. The chicken souvlaki was just excellent. This main course came with a small helping of tzatziki, and plenty of chips, and pita bread. Great food, great...

In this small town, only 17 km from Chania, we found this treasure. The best home cooked Greek food we have ever had (seriously; try their specials and spicy cheese sauce/dip, you can thank me later ;-)) for very reasonable prices. A lovely green, sheltered surrounding with very lovely, attentive staff. Parking is next to the restaurant. Could not recommend...
