Seven Souled — Restaurant in Municipality of Apokoronas

This place is amazing. We visit this part of Crete every 1-2 years, and always make it a point to spend a few days in this area so that we can spend the days on the beach and eat at Seven Souled. The food is excellent, with daily homemade Cretan specialties. It's a family run establishment and they treat their guests like family. Our most recent visit this past week was as good as our 6 other visits over the past 8 years. When we return home for a cold winter in Canada, we relive our summer vacation memories with great fondness throughout the rest of the year. Efharisto...

✅ Very nice long sandy beach, not crowded, lots of free space. Beautiful sunset. The sea is a shade cooler and more refreshing. ✅ fried zucchini are very tasty and not greasy ✅ large parasol with three sunbeds - €10 ❎ food is ordered at the cash register and it is not clearly written anywhere ❎ there are no menus on the tables ❎ the staff is a bit disinterested and does not inform the guests who are waiting at the table for service that they have to order their own food ❎ Music from beach bar cannot be heard on the sun beads,...

exclusively for tourists? If you want to avoid be seen by others you can swim/hide here..for some reason locals prefer to go to Episkopi beach with more crowded tavernas and beach bars. a few kilometres away from Rethymno with a very simple restaurant and sunbeds maybe this is what you prefer.. but view, is always the same between all these bar coffee restaurant shops. People prefer to find people they know to spend their free time and here isva little bit less local...
