Marinela Dining by the Sea — Restaurant in Municipality of Archane - Asterousia

I visited Treis Ekklisies in october, this year. on the day of St. Demetrius. Wonderful day, extremelly spectacular road to drive to Treis Ekklisies. Stopped close to the beach, took a lot of photos while thinking if to try swimming... but a little bit cold in the morning. I was looking for a coffee and the owners of Marinela Café, Marinela and Panayiotis, observed the Romanian license plates of my car. They invited me for a coffee! Marinela is a Romanian lady, very nice host. They shared a lot of stories about the place,, with me. I was also the 1st person they shared their traditional bread with. Bread with cinnamon, consecrated at the church, in the morning, to share with family and friends. I didn't even realize when the time had passed. I would have liked to stay longer, but I still had an isolated beach on the schedule that day. So... go to Treis Ekklisies and have a lunch at Marinela Café! Very nice...

There's multiple reasons why visiting this place is worthwhile. First, always very fresh and tasty food, for which Marinela is happy to give you her personal recommendation, and to ask you how you would like a particular dish prepared. Second, is the hospitality of Marinela, and a very personal touch to how she welcomes her guests, and make sure she can do her best for them. Lastly, it's the location right at the beach, with a beautiful view. I definitely recommend this place. A returning...

Καθισαμε τελος Ιουλιου να πιουμε μπυρες και αναψυκτικα. Ζητησαμε σαλατα και μια ομελετα. Η σερβιτορα μας ειπε οτι δεν φτιαχνουν ομελετες γιατι ειναι στο πρωινο αλλα οτι θα μας φερει μεζε με τις μπυρες. Επιστρεφει μετα απο λιγο φερνοντας τις μπυρες και τη σαλατα και λεγοντας μας οτι οι ιδιοκτητες αρνουνται να μας φερουν συνοδευτικα γιατι δεν προλαβαινουν επειδη ειναι στην κουζινα και μαγειρευουν. Αν θελουμε να παραγγειλουμε φαι αλλιως τιποτα! Σημειωτεον: 5 η ωρα το απογευμα με αλλα 2 τραπεζια σερβιρισμενα στο μαγαζι. Κανονικο δουλεμα δηλαδη! Της ειπαμε να πει στα αφεντικα της οτι δεν ειναι σωστο αλλα να λενε κι αλλα να κανουν κι οτι θα περιμενουμε τους μεζεδες. Οι μεζεδες οχι μονο δεν ηρθαν αλλα ηρθε κι ενας αγενεστατος κυριος να το παιξει τσαμπουκας ιδιοκτητης και να μας πει φωναζοντας οτι τον προσβαλλαμε και αμα θελουμε ετσι σερβιρει τις μπυρες σκετες. Αν δεν θελουμε να φυγουμε. Τον πληρωσαμε απο αξιοπρεπεια, χυσαμε τις μπυρες και φυγαμε! Δεν ειναι τυχαιο που ολα τα προσφατα σχολια ειναι αρνητικα. Επιχειρηματιες σαν κι αυτον ντροπιαζουν το νησι μας και πρεπει να μη σταυρωνουν πελατη. Δοξα τω θεω εχουμε ενα σωρο αξιοπρεπη μαγαζια που σεβονται κι εμας και τα λεφτα μας! Δεν ξαναπαταμε το...
