It is a traditional fish tavern, in Nea Kios, 10 minutes drive from Nafplio. There are many tables with shade and a view of the beach, but also a large parking area on the beach side next to the tavern. The tavern has a very vintage decoration, which takes you back in time. Just 6 miles outside the city, we enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch surrounded by boisterous, happy Greek families. We were the only Americans, so they had to explain how fresh fish is sold - by weight! Apx. .65 kilograms of Grouper was perfect for two, along with tomato salad and wine. A perfect meal for our last day in Greece.
