Spent a week in Corfu where we popped into this restaurant on our first day by chance. We were greeted with big smiles and incredible service, a lovely waiter immediately sitting us down in the outside area. The atmosphere continued to be welcoming and enjoyable throughout, and our orders from a well-balanced, authentic menu (with plenty of vegetarian options) came quickly. The food was absolutely delicious, from the dips to the mains, both the quality of the ingredients and preparation of the dishes was exceptional! We left full to the brim (especially with the extra fruit they brought out for dessert!) and couldn’t believe our luck to have discovered this place. Over the next few days, we had lunch at various other restaurants in the area for practically the same price, but none could match the excellent standard and service of Apomero - so much so that we ended up returning every single day for dinner! Our choices comprised of traditional Greek dishes (tzatziki, greek salad, souvlaki, musaka, baked aubergine with feta, squid, sea bass etc. with loads of pita bread) and all of these were consistently a 10/10. We loved the secluded countryside location, away from the busy, touristy beaches making the whole experience more friendly, peaceful and unique. The service, as mentioned before, was also one of the most memorable aspects and we looked forward to meeting the same cheerful waiter everyday. To conclude, we all agree that eating at Apomero made our holiday trip twice as good; a must if you are staying in the northern region of...
Read moreFantastic restaurant. This is our fifth holiday in Corfu, and we always come here to eat at least three times during our stay. The staff is friendly and warm-hearted. The location is wonderfully peaceful. The terrace, covered in pebbles, provides great entertainment for our little children, and the borders around the terrace make it enclosed, easy to oversee, and safe for the kids to wander around once they’ve had their fill. The food is served quickly and is full of flavor. It’s genuinely of much higher quality than other tavernas, which often feel more like snack bars. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. In short: you...
Read moreDriving on a country road, we found this restaurant. There's parking on both sides. On Friday and saturday there is live music. The restaurant was almost fully booked (lots of reserved tables) but there was space for walk-ins. The hostess is friendly and eager to help with dietary questions. We asked for vegetarian options and there were more veggie options than listed on the menu. We had some starters of fried vegetables and garlic bread. All simple but delicious. We also had dorade. It was de-boned at the table by a nice man which was a nice experience. We had orange cake as dessert which was delicious. The live music gives an...
