El Cielo — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

I have never been tempted to write as good as possible review so far - but I am to do it now . In the Ancient Greek mythology there is a place called Elysium (paradise) and I think I've found it here! The Spanish name for the restaurant is more or less pointing into the same direction.

Simply put, it is everything you need and more, trust me!!! They redifine the "beach restaurant" expression, whether it is free sunbeds while you order something.. or the service... or politeness... or the food... or it's freshness... or willingness to prepare something out of the menu... or the silence and the smiles, while enjoying here... Pick whatever you want.

Because of this place I wish to have 10 stars on Google reviews so I can separate all of the good ones from an excellent one - this one!

Ive come here twice and I've loved both of those times. The service is magnificent as the waiter is really charming and has absolutely amazing customer service skills.

The food is just as good, even as a side to the main food, the tomatoes were the best ones I've ever eaten. The Saganaki cheese is SO GOOD actually gained my favorite kind of cheese through this place, the cheese tastes so good and the cheese pull is super satisfying. As for the actual main dish I've ordered the pork skewers and kids chicken nuggets which both were decent. I think its very epic how they serve ice cream after you've finished your order. The milkshakes they have taste awfully nostalgic to me which made drinking that a good experience too.

Im genuienly surprised how this place doenst have more customers since the location and literally everything is so perfect. My favorite place to come...

I have been visiting this restaurant for over 25 years and it is perfection in all areas! Giannis and his wife and the staff are so warm and welcoming and they hold a special place in my heart, they are like my family ♥️ The restaurant overlooks the beach and Goat island and also very close to the Cactus watersports. I have eaten lunch, brunch, dinner and had plenty of beer, wine and raki, all are faultless! This morning I am eating the Dakos- it is so fresh and tasty! You will not be disappointed...
