Taverna Koulouridis — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

Quite a decent palce. In october there were only a few tables with tourists for dinner. Grilled complimentary bread (and other grilled items) were a bit smokey for my taste. I assume this is to do with how often you clean the grill. I do not mean intentionally smoked meats - there was a piece of smoked bacon in the mix grill which was the highlight of the dished we had. Chicken breast was also fairly juicy but some other bits of meat were a bit on the dry side. We also had snails fried with rosemary that I would recommend and I also enjoyed the saganaki cheese although at first the outside looked too...

From the food to the service, this place was really great! Everything came down to 42€, which included decently sized portions for salads and a grill dish for two, soft drinks, a free, big bottle of water as well as free delicious ice cream and Raki shots in the end.

My partner and I went for this awesome looking tavern after we did the Samaria Gorge hike and arrived here at around 9pm so it was getting a little chilly outside. The staff kindly lent us their jackets (Thank you!). The sunset view you get is another reason to grab dinner here. Highly recommend and totally...

Ich würde diesem Restaurant auch 10/5 geben. Es ist nicht in Worte zu fassen wie unfassbar lecker es hier geschmeckt hat. Wir wurden vom Besitzer (wird von einer Familie geführt) bestens beraten und es wurden direkt Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Diese haben wir auch bestellt und eine war bessere als die Andere...unmöglich zu entscheiden was am besten geschmeckt hat. Speisen super frisch und da zum Restaurant eine eigene Metzgerei zählt an Qualität nicht zu toppen. Der Service war sehr höflich und sogar der Koch kam später persönlich nachfragen, ob alles in Ordnung war. Als Dessert wurde uns noch eine griechische Spezialität vorgesetzt und zum Digestiv gab es Raki...beides aufs Haus. Nicht zu vergessen die Aussicht auf Chania von dort aus ist besonders im Sonnenuntergang atemberaubend. Fantastisch. Also wir werden wieder kommen.

EN Version: I would also give this restaurant 10/5. Words cannot describe how incredibly delicious it tasted here. We were well advised by the owner (run by a family) and recommendations were made directly. We ordered these too and one was better than the other...impossible to decide which tasted best. Food is super fresh and since the restaurant has its own butcher's shop, the quality cannot be beat. The service was very polite and even the chef came later personally to check if everything was ok. We were served a Greek specialty for dessert and raki for the digestive...both on the house . Not to forget the awesome and breathtaking view we had on Chania while the sunset. Fantastic. So we...
