New Kydonia Suites & Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

What a great find, lovely atmosphere and views, great facilities and lovely and relaxing. Apartments are well appointed and have plenty of room with very useful AC. The pool is great to cool off in. Food and drinks are great and ideal for those long days at the pool. The harbour taxi ride is around 15 Euros and 20 minutes with no fuss - Lisa will even order it for you. Nothing is too much trouble for Lisa and the staff making you feel at ease as soon as you arrive. The beach can be walked, and a short taxi ride down the coast (5-10 mins) and there are lots more beaches and beach bars for long evenings after some fun on the beach. Watched some great sunsets from Roussos Beach Bar Restaurant - sit on the higher section and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and great service (and reasonable prices) - taxi back around 10-15 euros. |The supermarket is well stocked for day to day items and is a short walk, we typically had snacks or light lunches through the day in the heat and made our way to the beach later on or down to the harbour for evening meals. Late food at the pool though could leave you to enjoy a cocktail and the sunset from the bar and just take in the views. ||Definitely lived up to the 5 stars and we would recommend - we will definitely be...

Myself & my boyfriend stayed at New Kydonia for 6 nights at the beginning of July and we both absolutely LOVED it. We booked it very last minute so didn't know what to expect but we very quickly fell in love with the place and are already planning a trip back here! Our apartment was huge, very very clean and came equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our balcony over looked the ocean and beautiful view of Chania, with amazing air conditioning which cooled us down after days in the gorgeous Cretan sunshine. The pool area was stunning, clean and there's a fab bar which serves the BEST tequila sunrises as well as food/snacks. We also had a couple of very very nice coffees in the mornings before we started our day. The pool itself is perfect and lovely for a little swim to cool off. Finally, Lisa & her family are so so so kind, welcoming and gave us loads of recommendations which made our holiday absolutely perfect. All the staff that work here are also very friendly and exceptionally helpful. We are so grateful for such an amazing stay - we cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to come...
