This has to be the best restaurant my sister and I have visited in Crete and I say this as someone who is not easily impressed. The location itself is a dream. Right in between olive trees far away from busy streets or any loud tourist masses. We had a few mosquitoes flying around but our waiter offered help immediately and took care of everything. I wouldn’t have deducted a star for mosquitoes since they’re natural but the handling of the situation was great. The service was outstanding! We immediately got greeted and sat down at a table we wanted. Didn’t have to wait for the menu to be brought. It was a rather small menu but it goes to show that they prepare everything themselves. And that’s exactly how it tasted. Our salads were super fresh, tasted great and the feta cheese on top was just heaven on earth. Super creamy and complimented the Greek salad really well. The chicken souvlaki was rich in flavor, seasoned very well, freshly grilled and just perfect. We ordered a side of bread which came fresh out of the oven and had a few dried herbs around its crust. Very delicious. The fries or rather potato wedges were the best I had here. Very well seasoned, yet again. If I ever come back to Crete, this will be in my bucket list....

A very welcoming atmosphere. The music, the setting and the warm attentiveness of the waiter made it a nice experience, especially as I was dining alone. Despite being tucked away... It was well populated! Those who know...😉

I had the Greek Salad and wrapped vine leaves which I can recommend. I feel the salad could have been bigger in green leafy elements, but the cheese was at least, generous! The dishes appeared assembled with real care; the vine leaves carefully prepared to be bite-sized. I do think the vines would be better with tzaziki not mayo (just my preference but unsure if that'd be the tradition).

Despite only ordering a couple of dishes I was satisfied and was even offered a free dish of melon and stewed cherries to finish 👌

Thank you for that gesture!

A nice, intimate and tucked away find here, for an alternative to the busier places. One to visit for a home made...

This place is an absolute gem - if you want a beautiful authentic Greek setting and food where locals and tourists mix in equal measure then this is the place for you. Manos the owner could not do enough to make sure we had a fantastic evening - I surprised my daughter who was on holiday in Crete for her birthday- Manos hid us out the back of the restaurant and then allowed us to bring the first round of drinks through to the table. First class food, drink and a cracking atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough. Oh and one thing to note don't be put off if the taxi driver drops you on what looks like a dead end lane in the middle of nowhere- some taxis don't drop you at the door claiming the road is too bumpy by car - in reality there are much worse roads in the UK and it is literally a 2 minute walk from the end of the lane to the restaurant- when you get I promise it will...

Wow. This place is a genuine local treasure. The restaurant is run by 2 brothers and both bring their best to their jobs. Dining here is an intimate experience amongst a beautiful garden where one of the brothers will wait on you and bring a smile to your face and delicious food to your belly. The food is prepared by an outstanding chef, also a brother, using only wood fire. That's right, no electricity or gas is used to cook. This lends a beautiful char-grilled, smoky flavor to the food. The meats are prepared beautifully and the vegetables taste so amazing that it will make you question whether you ever have even eaten real vegetables in your life. It's almost enough to make you want to become a vegetarian, but then you taste the pork chop and you realize you want to have both. I've eaten here twice and can fully recommend it.

We were looking for an authentic cretan restaurant that provided great service and atmosphere and we definitely found it with logari. After driving down what looks like a deserted road, you pull into the lot of a family run restaurant that will seat you under olive trees and treat you like family. Manos explained the entire menu and was willing to do anything to make sure we were happy. His brother Nikos delivered the same hospitality. We ordered practically everything on the menu and nothing disappointed. We are a family of 7 ranging in ages from 12-50ish and there was something for everyone (even the pickiest eaters). We ended with traditional raki and fruit compliments of Manos. It was our best dinner in Crete. Thank you from Nicodemo and family (your New York friends)
