Sea cafe bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

We stumbled across this bar by chance, we had a whole day with nothing to do as waiting for our flight home. The other bars were quite touristy and over priced so we popped in for one cocktail to decide what to do. It was quiet which is exactly what we wanted some peace. Nikos helped us choose a cocktail by asking our preferred taste. He made them from scratch and all from fresh fruit not syrups! Not only that, he brought us out some complimentary snacks and shots. We were enjoying it so much we stayed most of the day, we played pool and chatted to Nikos who gave us recommendations of places to visit on our next trip. It seems this bar was only quiet because of the huge all inclusive hotels around it stopping people from experiencing wonderful local family owned businesses like this. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went for dinner and came back for one more drink at sunset and to make our last hour of the trip a memorable one. We were late for our pick up because we were having such a great time and didn’t want to leave. The one regret we had was that we didn’t find this place sooner on our stay!...

I had the pleasure of visiting Mr. Agapakis’ place twice, and there is no need to even mention the hospitality – it was beyond outstanding. The atmosphere and the view of the sea were truly exceptional.

Mr. Agapakis is extremely courteous and helpful; he is always happy to recommend nearby places where you can enjoy authentic Greek food at local prices. Moreover, he is always open for a pleasant conversation and offers a level of service that goes far beyond the ordinary, as you can see in the picture.

I would sincerely recommend this place to everyone. If it were possible, I would gladly give 6 stars.

we were a group of international Pilots based in Heraklion for the whole summer and Nicks Cafe Bar Sea was our main hub enjoying our free time with the best Cocktails, Billiard, music , networking and enjoying on the Island. He is funny super professional and the price service quality Ratio is more fair towards the customer. He thinks customer first and we loved it. we will come back for the whole summer next year.
