While exploring the charming area of Dafni, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, highly recommended by fellow travelers. Our initial expectations were high, but this place exceeded all of them.

We were recommended Katafigio by our hostess at Cool Style apartments close by. Initially we were a little skeptical after seeing the menu and not much detail on the dishes. But man oh man were we so so wrong! Amazing food that was piping hot, freshly prepared and so so delicious! Wife took the pics, so don't have them available, but it was a real treat eating here - and it set the bar very high as it was our first ever meal in Greece! Besides the massive chunk of fresh and tasty bread, they give you a water and have ouzo and tsipuro in ample supply - with warm and genuine service, even if it was fighting past the language barrier a bit. Not badly priced either, think we came to a total of 40-something euro for a 200ml bottle ouzo, a started of cheese and pepers and two...
