Νew Times Home & Hotels — Hotel in Athens

They have BEDBUGS and being fully aware about it keep accepting guests and make them suffer. I was beaten by them so badly that even got allergic reaction and had to buy medication. My whole vacation was ruined! I can’t go to the beach being in Greece. They’ve changed my room, but new bites kept appearing on my body. So, I decided to leave and went to talk to the manager. While I tried to explain my situation he was texting with someone on the phone and not even giving me full attention. Lastly I said that I want to leave and get money back for the last 3 nights that were paid and was not going to stay. At this moment he became super angry shouting at me and running around. He was agressive to the extend that I barricaded in my room and only with the booking.com help was able to leave the building safely. They said that this place decides that they will not give any refund. The minute I left the building they cancelled my reservation on the hotel’s end stating that I didn’t show up (with all the booking.com recorded calls while they were trying to get me out of there). They do it, so people, won’t leave them reviews on...

PROS: easy access right next to a metro station and ok distance to the center - nice size room and balcony - good price - checked in earlier than the normal hours - room was clean except for the reasons below (BEDBUGS)

CONS: BEDBUGS...so go at your own risk. I have attached a photo of the sheets which were washed but dried up blood stains were visible. During the last night after turning on the light I also found a bedbug on the headrest of the bed. Towels were also not the cleanest. Should had went to another couple which booked an identical room 2 minutes before my reservation a few months before arrival. We had our flight at 6AM which arrived at 8AM in Athens and we were in the city at around 10AM. Our friends with the other room got up at 3AM and went to the airport only to realize that their reservation was cancelled a few hours before and only received an email from Booking...Although we checked in, we had to spend the entire first day to find other accommodations for my friends on such...

A very secure hotel in a great location, surrounded by all transport options. It is directly opposite the metro which will take you directly into the centre. Also the tram is right there too! Or if you prefer there are plenty of taxis always queuing outside the station...(directly opposite) so there's plenty of options to get around! Located nearby, opposite the hotel, is the Economy mini supermarket and there are quite a few restaurants nearby. There's a bakery literally next door which is handy because the hotel doesn't provide breakfast but there's a mini fridge for yoghurt, milk etc., and plenty of places in the room to store dry food options if you wanted to. Our room had a beautiful view of the Herodes Atticus Theatre, a decent sized bathroom, two balconies and the bed was very comfortable. If your choice is between a hostel or this place, choose this place! Would definitely...
