Fevgatos — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

After trying different taverns and restaurants every day for eight straight days on the island, we found Fevgatos. They serve by far the best meats that we've had in this two week trip to Samos.

As starter, I tried the homemade shepard cheese which is flambed with Ouzo probably and it tastes great.

The Pork Gyros Pita dish coming for just 3€ is exceptional and I would not be unhappy to pay twice the amount. The Gyros is crispy and juicy but not fatty, just as it should be.

The other day we had the mixed grilled plate for two persons which comes with 8 different pieces of meat from pork, lamb and chicken if I remember correctly. All of them tasted really well and the fresh fries, pita bread and Tzatziki as well. The amount of food is almost too much for two people.

The absolute highlight was half a portion of the spit roast pork meat, which the waiter offered me for trial. This is a MUST have for people who like good meat.

Good food and resonable prices. Big portions so we ordered too much food.

The Pita Gyros and Souvlaki Bacon Chicken were delicious and a meal itself. To share we ordered grilled beef (medium) and pork of about 700 gram each...difficult to to grill well with a large bone, so part of the beef was send back as it was too raw. We would recommend the grilled pork instead of the beef.

Fried Kalamari tasted also very good.

Would recommend placing smoking guests at one side of the terrace and non smoking guests at the others side (in direction of the wind). So non smokers and children will not eat with smell of...

We found this restaurant by coincidence. Just follow the music , you will see Fevgatos.we ordered anchovy, shrimp , Greek salad and calamari. The portions are big. They all are yummy. It was a privilege for us to have our dinner with Greek live traditional music at the seashore. All the people are dancing and singing with the music which makes the place vivid .
