Solid All day spot — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

My friend and I came here for a coffee. Since my friend needed to take a phone call, we asked the waiter if we could order a bit later, and she said it was no problem. However, when we were ready to order, she told us that they had already closed the coffee machines at 9 PM and could no longer take coffee orders. It was strange to hear that a coffee shop would close its coffee machines, but we said okay and ordered a cold brew since it’s usually prepared in advance. However, they didn’t have cold brew either. I asked another waiter if they had stopped taking coffee orders, and she said they could still serve coffee, which meant the machine wasn’t really closed. It seems like the first waiter just didn’t want us there. Also there was a really bad smell around. Even though I liked the coffee, I’m giving a low rating due to the attitude...

Extremely slow and unhygienic service. Waited more than 45 mins for a banoffee dessert, which gave me severe food poisoning. I spent the whole next day on the toilet.

Edit: Since the owner is disputing my claims. The only other food I ate that day was a club sandwich (shared with a group of people) and some fish taverna food (6 people ate from the same plates). The only thing I ate this day and didn’t share was the banoffee from Solid. So isn’t it strange that nobody else from my group was sick?

Please don’t tell me how to read the time. There was no food or drink within 25 mins of ordering. We ordered simple coffees for the group and one banoffee for myself. We waited around 45 mins before anything arrived...

The place looks good from outside but the inside of it is questionable. In the ladies room there was no seat on wc which is awkard and on the way there the ground was moving like it’s gonna fall down.

The servers are nice and kind but not enough I’m guessing or the cooking staff isn’t enough since it took an hour to deliver an omelette. The food was okay.

I think that it’s an overrated place. We went there because we read a lot of good reviews about it. It’s also a bit pricey. I wouldn’t recommend you to go...
