A Fantastic Dining Experience at Medouli Steak House!

If you're a fan of expertly crafted steaks and an unforgettable dining experience, then Medouli is an absolute must visit. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, the ambiance set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing meal.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home from start to finish. But let's talk about the food, it was nothing short of extraordinary.

The signature dish Medouli is a showstopper. It’s clear why it’s their signature, the flavors are bold, the presentation is beautiful, and the combination of ingredients is simply perfect. But for me, the real highlight was the dry aged beef steak. It was cooked to absolute perfection( I recommend medium-rare) with a rich, deep flavor that only dry aging can bring. The meat was tender, juicy, and every bite was a reminder of just how great a steak can be when prepared with passion and expertise.

So for starters the potatoes and salad were very good. Small portions but good. HOWEVER when we ordered the liver entree to be cooked medium well ( κανονικά) they brought it out completely undercooked and rare. When we complained to waiter he said that their κανονικό was equalivalent to rare. (spare us we get up in restaurants) Then when we complained to the maitre he offered to take the plate with the few pieces that were left to recook it, instead of offering a new plate. We were a company of six and not one of us were enthused with the main courses of meat which included ribeye, chicken and pork. Update: Δεν μπερδεύω καθόλου το εστιατόριο! Η επίσκεψη έγινε στις 5 Ιανουαρίου, άρα το κοντοσούβλι υπήρχε! Όσο για τα στικ γλυκοπατάτας, μπορεί να μην θυμάμαι και να ήταν πουρές γλυκοπατάτας. Το θέμα είναι ότι όλα τα πιάτα είχαν το ίδιο συνοδευτικό, ενώ στον κατάλογο είχαν διαφορετικό. Σε κάθε περίπτωση, η κριτική μου είναι πραγματική, αφορά πολλά σημεία και καλό θα ήταν να την λάβετε υπόψιν σας και να διορθώσετε έγκαιρα τα κακώς κείμενα για να συνεχίσετε για πολλά χρόνια την παρουσία σας στην Αργυρούπολη.

Πήγαμε προετοιμασμένοι για κάτι εξαιρετικό με τις κριτικές και την διαφήμιση που του έχει γίνει. Το φαγητό όμως δεν ανταποκρίθηκε στις προσδοκίες μας και ειδικά για τις τιμές του! Πήραμε ένα κοντοσούβλι χοιρινό όπου έψαχνες κάποιες ίνες κρέατος μέσα στο λίπος!!!! Είναι ζήτημα αν το κρέας αποτελούσε έστω και το ένα τρίτο της μερίδας. Το φιλέτο μου το ζήτησα medium well και μου ήρθε σχεδόν medium rare! Το έστειλα πίσω, ήρθε σχεδόν ίδιο, το έφαγα με μισή καρδιά! Το συνοδευτικό ήταν σε όλα τα πιάτα το ίδιο και συγκεκριμένα μια μικρή ποσότητα από στικς γλυκοπατάτας, παρόλο που στον κατάλογο ήταν διαφορετικό για κάθε πιάτο! Οι δε σαλάτες, μετά βίας για 2 άτομα η καθεμία! Δεν ανέφερα τίποτα ούτε έκανα θέμα γιατί είχα βγάλει την οικογένειά μου να την κεράσω για τα γενέθλιά μου και δεν ήθελα να χαλάσω το κλίμα. Στο τέλος δε, δεν υπήρχε το παραμικρό κέρασμα, ένα λικέρ μαστίχα, ένα γλυκάκι, κάτι, όταν στην τελευταία χασαποταβέρνα πλέον υπάρχει κέρασμα! Ελπίζω ο ιδιοκτήτης να λάβει υπόψιν του την κριτική (η οποία είναι φυσικά υποκειμενική, είναι απλά η γνώμη μου, αλλά είμαι κι εγώ ένας πελάτης που πληρώνει και θέλει να απολαύσει το φαγητό και την εμπειρία του), για να βελτιώσει τα κακώς κείμενα τώρα που είναι...
