Shisan Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Elliniko - Argyroupoli

Well first time at Shisan of Argyroupoli. Really nice place with an external area. The reason of my first time (in general) review is because of one person,Rafael. Although we had a really small challenge, Rafael with his professionalism, manners and attitude turn it all over. I’ve been to hospitality industry for too many years in Greece and abroad and there are few times I’ve seen a so professional employee. This comes from the clothes he was wearing, the tone of his voice, the calm attitude and the smile on his face. Good food and decent amount for the price you pay in comparison to many other sushi places. So it's probably a 5* value. Salmon is usually my favourite and all the dishes - nigiri, tataki, salad etc where good with it. I did enjoy the crab tartare dish too, white fish and shrimp were fine, tuna was so so.

I'd like to say they could add some classics like ikura or ama-ebi, but maybe they are not easy to procure. But at minimum they should try to get the fatter pieces of tuna (o-toro or at least chu-toro) - I mean, charge extra for it obviously, but I would expect people who try it to appreciate the difference over the comparatively flavourless non...

As not a big fun of sushi but a huge fun of spring rolls, I bought spring rolls and mochi. The spring rolls were a bit small but so unspeakably delicious! The sweet chilli sauce that came with the spring rolls was also great. The mochi was by far my fav thing in the whole world but it's expensive.. 4€ for 2 small mochi.. if it was cheaper I would buy much more often!! A great...
