Vale Vale — Restaurant in Municipality of Elliniko - Argyroupoli

As a regular for more than a decade, this time I have to sadly leave quite a negative review.

The treatment was unprofessional after asking to be seated at a better table since we had a birthday person with us and got given the most isolated table of the whole store. The lady who came out to speak to us had quite an arrogant stance saying "the best I can do is the table next to it" and not really being willing to help.

Now to the important things, the food was VERY mediocre and 3 out of the 4 people now have stomach irritations. Also, the waiter tried to aggressively push us their most expensive dish without taking hints that we do not want it.

Finally, the person that served us wine held the glasses very high up the glass bowl rather than the stem, which was also very unprofessional.

This saddened me as I used to describe this place as one of the best beer gardens of Athens everytime I would visit Greece but clearly not anymore with this...

There was a really wide variety of Beers to chose from and at affordable prices. What disappointed me a bit was the size of the Meat Combos. Even though it was described as a Combo for 4 people, there were only three copies of each item within the Variety, making it hard to split among 4 individuals. Potentially with 1 additional item of each time it would have met the promised quantity.

The service was good enough, the waiters were all kind and friendly. If anything could have made it better, it would have been a passive resupply of water.

Next portion of this reviews goes to commenting about the design of the place. Most of the tables are decorated with hot & steamy artwork of women. The menu and the susplats follow similar designs, which might lead someone to thinking that this design is oversexualizing women. Beautiful place and really nice service. Plates were not big, more, loaded of food, but the quality was not that good, especially for meat. I really like the Ambient and the service that's the reason why my review will be partially positive.

Two people 65€ we took a grill mix, salad, mix of cheese and mix of cold cuts, one beer 1L and 1 coca cola, as I said the portion were really good, but the cuts were from supermarkets, I can eat that at home too.
