Update 2: After my last visit I decided to drop the rating again. The tacos were blunt, crispy salmon roll was soggy and gyozas were tasteless. On top of that, we received one starter first, then the sushi, then a cold appetizer and then two other starters. Finally, when we asked to pay our server asked if “we were ok with (not leaving) a tip”. I highly doubt I will give it another chance.
Update: I ordered several times during quarantine 2021 from this restaurant. The quality was overall consistent so I decided to increase the rating to 4 stars
Ι visited this restaurant on Saturday June 6th 2020 along with a friend of mine. I had heard several comments about the restaurant and I wanted to check for myself. Our first order was the seafood wontons which was tasty. Next was salmon tataki. Salmon was cooked as it should be but the marinade was not properly distributed on the plate. For example after a couple of bites my friend said she could detect something "spicy" which I did not see in the plate although I had already eaten half of it. I finally got it during the last bites and it hit me. From the rolls we had uramaki spicy shrimp, tempura crab salmon tartar roll. Although the ingredients looked of good quality to me the whole thing tasted rather blunt. I am more of a fan of traditional and not new- style sushi and thus I could not say that I was excited from the sushi overall. We also had cold sake which was ok. The staff was very attentive and the place itself is well and modernly decorated. I would probably go again but it would not certainly be my first choice. However, I have been said that there are other more interesting plates so keep...
Read moreSo it’s Thursday noon, you wish to have some good sushi with your clients and you think of Hachiko @ Psychiko, a place you’ve already been a couple of times in the past and you consider it as a “safe” solution, yet this time has been a complete disaster… A bill of 145 € (4 people) for just an ok food, No music – just the noise from the cars passing by, average service – just doing “delivery” if I have to describe with one word and really bad desert – souffle chocolat that you’ll find better at any supermarket, which we commented to supervisor, in a kind way and out of concern for future reference… As a last min call, we’ve ordered 4 shots of mastiha liqueur in order to have a better closing of lunch and guess what ?! they’ve charged us 12 € instead of offering them in good will, not to mention they should do it as an apology to such a disgrace for the desert… Obvious lack of professionalism here, the “supervisor” needs some training, or the Restaurant’s Management needs a better supervision… On the good side, I can recommend the bartenders they’ve served us the other times – irrelevant to much higher bills, but am I...
Read moreHachiko offers a dining experience with both highs and lows. The food is the standout feature - very good quality sushi that satisfies you. However, the service leaves something to be desired, particularly towards the end of the meal.
While the overall dining experience was pleasant, it was marred by an unfortunate interaction with our waiter. When we requested to have our last dish packaged to go due to a delay in service, the waiter's attitude became noticeably unfriendly. This lack of professionalism and courtesy was disappointing, especially considering the quality of the food.
In summary, Hachiko delivers on taste but falls short on service consistency. The excellent sushi makes it worth considering, but be prepared for potential service hiccups that might detract from an otherwise...
