We booked a table here with my husbands family for dinner on a Saturday evening and it was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in Greece. The venue was in a word: grimy and there was a massive cockroach climbing behind our table. We called the waiter but ended up removing it ourselves and the the waiter wasn’t bothered at all. He came over and inspected the fuss and was very meh and walked away. The service was unprofessional, like they were almost bored to take our order and engage with us when we asked questions about the meals. Unfortunately the biggest let down was the food. It did not resemble cretan cuisine. We have been dining at another cretan restaurant in Glyfada the last month, and honestly no comparison. I can understand that this restaurant has competitive prices that make it appear attractive but in my opinion it is not worth it at all. Do yourself a favor and google the other Cretan...

I highly recommend this Cretan restaurant when in Athens. It has been the absolute highlight of my first trip to Greece. The food here is nothing short of extraordinary. Every bite felt like it was made with love and tradition. The flavours are so rich and authentic. What made the experience even more special was the owner Giannis was truly one of the most genuine, kindhearted people I’ve met. He didn’t just serve us food, he made sure we felt completely at home. Επισκέφτηκα με παρέα χτες αυτό το φαγηταδικο και όλα πήγαν στραβά. Παραγγελία ένα φιλέτο κοτόπουλο, αμανιτες, τηγανητές πατάτες και γραβιέρα με μέλι.Το κοτόπουλο ήρθε αψητο με ρίσκο να πάθουμε σαλμονέλα. Το είπα στο σερβιτόρο και μας το ζήτησε να το βάλουμε σε ένα νέο πιάτο για να το ψήσει καλύτερα ο σεφ! Αυτήν την κίνηση πρώτη φορά την βλέπω και είναι κάργα αντιεπαγγελματικη. Το έφερε πίσω επιφανειακά ψημένο χωρίς να υπάρχει διαφορά. Οι αμανιτες λες και είναι ημερών από κονσέρβα ξαναζεσταμενες με περίεργη γεύση.οι τηγανητές πατάτες με λάδι που έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί πολλές φορές κατακαμενες και ξερές. Η γραβιέρα μυρίζε έντονα τυριλα και είχε αλλοιωμένο χρώμα. Το μέλι που την συνόδευε ήταν ζαχαρομελο economy Βουλγαρίας. Μουσική ανύπαρκτη ώστε να ακούμε τα γύρω τραπέζια να γκαριζουν και να χασκογελανε. Κρίμα 26 ευρώ όλη αυτή η ντροπή για ένα αφεντικό που δηλώνει Κριτικη προέλευση και ντροπιάζει μια τόσο σημαντική κουζίνα της Ελλάδας. Δεν υπάρχει αγάπη για αυτό που κάνουν εκεί μέσα .
