Initially came in 2019 and returned several times in 2024. On all occasions thefood and service has been excellent as well as recommendations and guides from the waiting staff. Great view of the mountains and country side if you’re sitting outside, just don’t feed the cats! Best to go in a group and order a few meals to share.

Cozy traditional tavern with a variety of greek tastes. Interesting environment, very friendly staff, reasonable prices, family friendly (they offer a children seat). Chicken in red sauce (kokoras krasatos) was the best of the dishes we tastes. Pork and beef in red sauce (kokkinisto) were very tasty but a little bit hard.

We had a moussaka shared between the 2 of us. We almost ordered 2 but the server cautioned that they’re quite large. So we had 1 moussaka and a dakos salad to share, both great. Lovely terrace overlooking the valley. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt and we didn’t wait long for food.

Tasty and inspired traditional food in a cozy hall with fireplace and nice decoration. Bonus out of expectations, was the moschofilero wine and the music! The place is extra clean and cared in the heart of old Dimitsana The Staff was helpful and polite. We will definitely come back.

Not so many options in May in the charming village of Dimitsana, many restaurants are still closed. We went to Tefthis for lunch and dinner. Simple, robust food, not exceptional but perfect before or after a long hike in the mountains!

Σαν μαγαζί έχει ωραία τοποθεσία, στην είσοδο της Δημητσάνας. Εσωτερικά είναι παραδοσιακό, χωρίς κάτι το ιδιαίτερο. Εξωτερικά μπορείς να κάτσεις και να έχεις θέα στα βουνά του Μαινάλου. Το φαγητό μέτριο. Ίσως αυτή τη χρονική περίοδο, που δεν υπάρχει αρκετός τουρισμός, να χρησιμοποιούν κατεψυγμένα κρέατα. Πάντως μια χοιρινή και μια μερίδα κοντοσούβλι που φάγαμε είχαν γεύση ξεπαγωμένου κρέατος.Το τζατζίκι μάλλον ήταν χειροποίητο, κι αυτό μέτριο σε γεύση ενώ η ντοματοσαλάτα ήταν λίγη σε ποσότητα. Γενικά οι μερίδες ήταν απλές και σχετικά μικρές. Την επόμενη φορά που θα επισκεφτούμε το μέρος, θα δοκιμάσουμε κάποια άλλη ταβέρνα, μήπως και μείνουμε πιο ευχαριστημένοι.
