Trivoli Vegan Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Ilioupoli

This is not a vegan place. For one year this place was serving a non vegan feta cheese with rennet. I only tasted once and I directly noticed something is wrong with this cheese. I asked what's the name of the cheese and they told me it comes from a dairy company and has no name. I asked for the name of the company and the ingredients. They told me to ask the company for the ingredients. After the company accepted that this feta is not vegan I informed trivoli and asked them why they never checked for the ingredients. They didn't reply. After I published the incident they decided to make an apologetic announcement telling that for one year they use this cheece and they never checked for ingredients because a vegan friend of theirs told them it's vegan. This is unacceptable and dangerous. Vegan places should be safe places for vegans and for people with allergies. And according their behavior I don't believe that they didn't know that this feta is not vegan. We never go back...

Great spot for vegans! Wanted some traditional Greek food as a vegan (it's hard to come by) and this hit the spot! Very attentive and friendly service, cats hanging out outside from the neighboring pet store offering entertainment, and very delicious food, huge portions, and very reasonable prices. Μαγαζί με αποκλειστικές επιλογές για vegan. Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση και ωραίος χώρος. Εμείς κάτσαμε στα έξω τραπέζια, λόγω καλοκαιριού, που είναι επί του πεζοδρομίου. Από ότι πρόσεξα ο εσωτερικός χώρος είναι μικρός σχετικά. Στον κατάλογο έχει μετρημένες επιλογές. Πράγμα που μου αρέσει, γιατί δε σε μπλέκει με πολλά. Επιλέξαμε να δοκιμάσουμε ποικιλία. Με βάση αυτό το πιάτο μπορώ να πω πως υπάρχει κάπως κακό τηγάνι. Η κρούστα των μανιταριών, τα κεφτεδάκια και οι πατάτες είχαν τραβήξει αρκετό λάδι. Σε σημείο που να μην μπορείς να αισθανθείς τη γεύση του κάθε μεζέ. Να πω βέβαια πως αν και με πολύ λάδι, δε σου άφηνε συναίσθημα καούρας. Τα κεφτεδάκια ήταν από κιμά σόγιας. Την ποικιλία συνόδευαν και 3 σος, από μαγιονέζα, χούμους και τζατζίκι από ηλιόσπορο. Οι σος ήταν πολύ νόστιμες με μια διαφορετική γεύση, την οποία δεν τη δοκιμάζεις συχνά. Είναι κάτι το διαφορετικό.
