O Mastorikos — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalamata

We stumbled across this restaurant on our first evening in Kalamata and what a fantastic restaurant it was.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating of us as English-speaking customers, the food and value for money were both great, and the portion sizes just enormous. We all had to admit defeat!

✨ Un vrai coup de cœur ! Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce pita shop en passant, et quelle belle surprise ! Le meilleur souvlaki au poulet que nous ayons goûté sur Kalamata, servi avec de délicieuses frites maison, un peu de citron et du pain grillé — un vrai régal. Les pitas étaient savoureuses, la sauce pleine de goût, le service rapide et le personnel très sympathique. Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons...

Γρήγορο και ευγενικό προσωπικό, πιάτα νόστιμα και χορταστικά, σωστά ψημένα τόσο το κοντοσούβλι, όσο και το αφράτο ζουμερό μπιφτέκι, τηγανιτές πατάτες χωρίς λαδίλα και χωριάτικη σαλάτα να φάνε 4 άτομα... εμείς την τσακίσαμε και ας είμασταν 2...και έξτρα τζατζικακι σε ξεχωριστό μπολ συνόδευε τις μερίδες...αν πας μια φορά, θα ξαναπάς πάλι ή θα παραγγείλεις γιατί η κοιλίτσα θυμάται ποιός είναι ο..."μαστορίκος"...
