Esis .... Kebab? — Restaurant in Municipality of Kallithea

So this place is a very cute restaurant. But it looks better than what it is. I have to say that the suvlaki with brizolakia was absolutely exceptional. I loved it, and I devoured it , but when I tried their signature dish, the kabab I was let down beyond belief. The service was fantastic.The waiter was super friendly and helpful.He made all the recommendations and we picked and made our choices. If I may humbly make a recommendation you guys need to change your kebab recipe because that is not a kebab. Other than that, the place was fantastic, the toilets were super clean.They had very nice smelling soap.You could see into the kitchen.Everything was super clean and there.The products they used looked like.They were pretty damn good but like I said they really need to do something with their kebab. Συμπαθητικό περιβάλλον για σουβλατζίδικο, όμως....

Η ποιότητα πολύ υποβαθμισμένη, πολύ χαμηλότερη από πιο παλιά που θυμόμουν. Ειδικά το κεμπάπ θυμίζει κατεψυγμένο από το super market. Σα να έχει περισσότερο ψωμί από κιμά, κι η υφή του ήταν σαν τροφή για παιδιά πριν βγάλουν δόντια. Το ψήσιμο μάλλον λίγο. Αν έχω ακούσει σωστά, η συνταγή του κεμπάπ περιλαμβάνει αρνίσιο κιμά, αλλά μάλλον δεν... Το μέγεθος των τυλιχτών ανεπαρκές δυστυχώς. Δηλαδή μην περιμένει κανείς πως θα χορτάσει με ένα. Τα 3.5 ευρώ για ένα ανεπαρκούς μεγέθους τυλιχτό τα θεωρώ πάρα πολλά. Τα υπόλοιπα του γεμίσματος της πίτας κι αυτά λίγα. Στο τυλιχτό γιαουρτλού είχε μια μικρή κουταλιά μέτριας σάλτσας, και μια μικρή κουταλιά γιαούρτι που ούτε καν τοταλ δεν πρέπει να ήταν.

Το κακό είναι ότι οι αιτίες της κακής μου κριτικής είναι μάλλον πρόσφατες, καθώς παλιότερα ήμουν πολύ ικανοποιημένος.

Ας σημειώσω ως θετικά, την ευγενική συμπεριφορά του προσωπικού και το σύντομο χρόνο προετοιμασίας της παραγγελίας μου (προφανώς προψημένα κεμπάπ).

Θυμάμαι είχε παλιότερα κάτι νόστιμα τηγανητά παστουρμαδιπιτακια με τυρί. Θα είναι άραγε...

Really tasty and fresh Greek food! Fast and friendly service. Great team. Great prices. I loved the handwritten store signs and vintage interior. Two days since I came to Athens, I already came here twice 😁 kebab and chicken are really good, fresh and tender 🤤 the French fries were super good too. Kudos for local alcohol free beer 👍🏻...
