Valsamidi Eirini & Popi ( sfouggaras ) — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalymnos

We come to this fabulous restaurant every time we are in Kalymnos! It is amazing!!! We could quite easily eat there every day. The food is so flavoursome and delicious. Definitely made with love!! The traditional Kalymnian dishes, like the “mouri” - stuffed goat and “filla”- vine leaves are next level. The white bait was also delicious. We have never had a bad meal here. The service was second to none and a special call out to Yianni , Stavro and Eirini. The new decor using the yellow colour on the seating , pots and back wall as well as the lemons on the tables and the drapes above have all added to the new fresh feel of the place! Amazing food! The fried calamari was pretty fresh and and fulfilling. Something I've noticed here in the island of kalymnos the restaurants offer only fresh calamari and not frozen like you come across on other places. That's a good thing considering the taste and healthiness but it's also more expensive. Atherina was pretty good as well. Overall great experience. We took a boat trip from Kos to Kalymnos stopping in Vlychadias Bay, and found this restaurant by chance, so glad we did.

The food was awesome (one plate of the stuffed vine leaves is plenty for two people) kids loved the spaghetti and the house special burger which was a work of art.

Beer and wine was refreshing and ice cold, facilitates were clear and when we walked past the kitchen again all look reassuringly clean.
