I went back to Karpathos this summer after almost 10 years and I visited the PERASMA family restaurant again as I had a lively and lovely memory of it. I remember the first evening of my holiday, going out for a walk with my sister and there he was.. Fragkiskos...the owner of the restaurant, standing outside it, welcoming clients. We approached him, on the other side of the Road from our Hotel to say hi and make a reservation. We started chatting a bit and to our surprise, he recognised us after 10 yrs! It was a lovely gesture considering all the clients he meets! When we had dinner later that week, we had fish, rice, pita with tzatziki and everything was absolutely delicious just like 10 yrs ago! We were totally satisfied. Fragkiskos was busy, but always had his gentle smile, and he took a couple of min. to come over to our table to chat with us for a bit. He kindly treated us with their homemade Limoncello and Panna Cotta with topping. The food is delicious and the price is honest. We will definitely be back next year! HIGHLY...
Read moreWe visited To Perasma four times during our 14-day stay on Karpathos and every single visit was outstanding.
The location is perfect: just a 5-minute walk from our hotel, tucked away from downtown Pigadia. That means no loud crowds or screaming kids. Just a peaceful setting with the sound of their wonderful selection of Greek music. The food is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. We tried a variety of dishes, and every single one was absolutely delicious. Don’t miss the apple salad!
What truly makes To Perasma special is the atmosphere and the people. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They made us feel at home every time we returned.
To Perasma is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience you’ll remember long after your holiday. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely return whenever we come back...

We ordered the sea food platter and a gyros chicken plate. The food was awesome the platter was fully loaded and you could taste the quality of the good food. Especially the gambas and the muscles, but also the squid and the fish tasted amazing.
The only little problem I had was that the restaurant is right next to a rather busy street. Which can be a bit noisy. You can also sit further in the back where I think it might be more quiet.
The service was very good, our waiter always had an eye on our table and we were never missing anything. We also got a free round of Raki at the end.
Can...
