We had dinner at this charming little establishment. I made it clear that I had a nut allergy from the start. However, after a few bites of the first dish, I started itching and inquired if it contained nuts, and indeed, it had walnuts.

Subsequently, when the rest of the mezze dishes arrived at the table, I couldn't eat anything else. I ended up vomiting in the restroom.

After 20 minutes, I decided to go home and use my EpiPen. The situation got really bad.

There was no apology, we had to pay the full bill, and I ended up feeling extremely unwell and had to see a doctor. Really disappointing.

Edit: the below reaction says it all. I really am searching for the right words to reply on this complete nonsense reply you have written.

When first ordering, i mentioned I had a mut allergy. The waiter clearly pointed out to me there were only nuts in the desserts.

After getting the first dish, i tried slme butes since there were “only nuts in the desserts”.

And no, when in life danger, my least priority is saying goodbye to someone who almost got me killed.

Edit:

The reaction below truly reflects my feelings. I'm struggling to find the right words to respond to the completely unacceptable reply you provided. Inhumane practices.

When I initially placed my order, I made it clear that I had a nut allergy. The waiter explicitly assured me that nuts were only present in the desserts.

Upon receiving my first dish, I ate some of it since I believed nuts were limited to desserts based on the information given. However, after a few minutes, I realized something was wrong. I requested a glass of milk in an attempt to alleviate the allergic reaction, but it was in vain. I rushed to the restroom to vomit and rid myself of the allergen.

It's not unreasonable to expect that freshly prepared food, is taken in a doggy bag (even in this situation), especially when you're paying for it.

Indeed, when faced with a life-threatening situation, my top priority isn't bidding farewell to someone who nearly endangered my life. I was just grateful I could still walk.

Folks, please avoid this place...

This restaurant is by far one of the best on the entire island! My boyfriend and I came to lunch here and I can genuinely say we had an amazing experience. The food is incredibly delicious and the service was remarkable. The decor of the restaurant and the location is beautiful and definitely worth the trip to the Island. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make our entire dining experience 10/10… to the extent that we needed to get back to the port to catch our boat back to Bodrum and we’re unable to reach a taxi service, so one of the staff members drove us back into town himself!!

I want to thank the staff once again for the wonderful experience and the kind gesture of driving us back into town, in time to catch our boat! We can’t wait to come back to Kos and dine at your restaurant :)

I highly recommend...

Food, friendlyness and location are very good.

The reason for the 2 stars, we received a bill which was at the bottom clearly stated 44,90 euro. But calculating all the items it was only 40,90 euro, so we asked the staff if this was the correct price. At that moment he flipped the bottom part of the bill and the back side showed the correct price of 40,90 euro, which was very odd that there were 2 different prices on the bill, and the correct one at the back side. This felt like a scam. Which they really don't need, because it was full and the food was good.

Unfortunately, the staff took the receiped directly when we payed, which was also a bit strange.

Would be alert and recalculate the bill.

Although the food was good, for us it was enough reason not to go back anymore and to rate...

I recently visited this restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, which made our time enjoyable. The food was delicious and well-prepared, with balanced flavors and excellent quality. One of the highlights was the service—the waitress was polite and friendly, adding a positive touch to our visit. However, there are a few areas for improvement. Some tables and chairs could use renovation to enhance comfort. Additionally, maintaining good air quality, especially during peak hours, would be beneficial. The lighting could also be improved, as some areas were a bit too dim, affecting the overall ambiance. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return. I hope these suggestions are considered to make the place even better.

Simply the best food on the island. I was almost crying when I took a bite from fried courgette pies. They were just like how my mum was making them. Also recommend the kauvorma with eggs and the dolmas. We were quite hesitant to order deserts because we are generally disappointed. Kataifi (kadayıf) and the ravani (revani) are absolutely amazing (again I had a crying session over the kataifi). We ordered white wine and it was also good, a bit on the sweet side, but with a lot of aromas and after taste. Feels low in alcohol. And the Greek coffee was really good cooked and one of the best coffees I had since for a long time. Overall we enjoyed this delicious culinary experience. We will go there again on our last night on the island for sure.

Came here by accident, and it was the best thing that happened to us the whole trip. The place is just beautiful, right in the middle of a vineyard, the vibe in the restaurant is chill, and the staff are just amazing! The price is super cheap for a super tasty and good quality food. We paid less than 40€ for a full dinner for 3 and that includes the wine we ordered. We had 8 starters and one main dish that we shared for this price and we could barely finish it all but we just couldn’t stop because it was that good. I would really recommend to go there at least once on your trip if you have a car because it’s pretty far from the center, but trust me, it’s worth it. (Plus they give you the bill with a plate of grapes which was super cute)
