EPIKOYROS SNACK - BAR — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Visited the snack bar today 24.09. The workers are the most friendly people we met in Greece, and unfortunately the food was absolutely average, I would say not good.

We ordered greek salad (10€) - nothing special, average vegetables, not tasty feta, it was no taste at all in salad. Gyros for 2 person (25€) - it was not freshly cooked dish, meat was not hot, and taste not good. We had on a plate 50% of warm and 50% of cold potatoes, the pita and tzatziki was good. At all we were not happy with the food.

Atmosphere was average, it was a huge screens with sport show and greek music in the same time, strange feelings. I would suggest to select this place to drink wine,...

Fantastic little spot. Was a nice crowd in. TVs there if you want to watch a match. We got a pizza and chips between us as we wanted something small, barely finished it, a great feed. The owner surprised us with a dessert after of no extra charge. You can tell the owner and friends working there enjoy it, they created a very friendly fun atmosphere. They knew groups of tourists coming in, I think they get a lot of returning customers because of the personality they bring to the place....

Epikoyros or Epic Gyros how we would call it seriously has the best gyros on the whole island of Kos. And we tried a lot of places. Nothing beats the special herbs they use. It is really great! The service is very friendly and we highly recommend the place. We left the Neptune resort and its fancy restaurants multiple times to come to epikoyros for the great food. Compliment Antonius on his pants, have an ouzo with Kostas, and have a chat with George about sports....
