Arrived early not that it mattered as there was loads of space and free beds everywhere! The wave pool is the highlight of this waterpark as it is the best one I have ever been in! They have a low setting for the first hour or two and then every few hours they have the high setting which is absolutely fantastic!
They have slides which can be used either on your own or with a friend in a ring and they have a number of slides which don't require a rubber ring. The slides are all great apart from the green one which scuffs your back a little bit on the way down but there's plenty of others to keep you busy.
The lifeguards are all friendly and very attentive with safety at the core of thier advice so don't take it the wrong way if they ask you to do something as it's most likely for your own safety! (I say this because there were people being rude to them when asked to follow safety instructions). The floor doesn't get hot as they have painted paths which are smooth and stay cool. The lazy river is good because it actually moves on its own unlike many others I've seen which don't move! The staff are happy to help you in and out of the rubber rings.
The food and drinks areas are scattered throughout the park and never got too busy, they also had table service which was appreciated! The park doesn't allow food and drinks to be taken in but this is reasonable as the food and drink prices were actually surprisingly cheap and good value for money! The toilets are also clean and tidy and there was a swallows nest In one that the staff had put signs up to protect which is great to see!
They also have a small petting zoo section (behind the slides) and the animals seemed really well looked after! The animals were all very active and seemed happy!
Overall this Is a great family friendly waterpark that has attractions for everyone and deserves to have many more visitors than it does! It is definitely the best waterpark on the island of kos (better than aquatica) and is 100%...
Read moreVisited yesterday, group of 5, 3 adult prices, one child and one free infant. 70 euros, pre booked the night before. 20 minute walk from hotel so I cannot comment on the transfers.
Arrived just as the park opened, pre booked go in on the left. Checked in by a very pleasant lady. Bottles of water were 60 cents to purchase which we did upon entering. We had seen the warnings about not taking own food and drink however saw no one being searched on entry and nor did I see anyone that would have been bothered if you had.
The park is spaced out but the bigger slides are mostly in one area. Easy to navigate around. Was clean, tidy and very nice. The music was great.
We did not have to queue particularly long for anything, the 3 tubes that need a ring or mat had the longest queues. Main criticism comes from this, most people in the queue want to go on the same tube. The other 2 sometimes have no one on them. There should be a better system in place to allow other riders to pass to those slides.
We ate at quickbites. No table queue, did not really notice one all day. 40 euros for 4 good burgers, 2 chips and 4 drinks. And no waiting as described by others. Good value we thought. 3/4 persons waiting tables etc
Lots of fun on the tubes and other activities. Yes you will go on them repeatedly, but I've been to much bigger waterparks and had to do the same so I think it had enough rides.
The younger children's play area was great.
Lifeguards bang on, mess about, get whistled at and told to move on. As it should be. Overall, we had a great day and good Value for money. Did not encounter any of the issues mentioned by others maybe we were just lucky but it didn't feel that way.
Tip...when the wave pool is on the queues drop...
Read moreMe and my family visited Lido Water Park Saturday 10th August 2024!
We were staying in a hotel in Marmari so booked tickets via Tigaki Tours based in Marmari. There was a free bus included in the cost of 22 Euros each for adults and 17 Euros each for the kids.
The bus picked us up at 11am on the main Taxi rank, and when boarding we were given a ticket for the return journey. The bus didn't stop at any other places after Marmari. It took around 15 minutes to get to the waterpark.
When we arrived there was a small queue. We showed our ticket from the booking and allowed in. Lockers are hired from the other side of the ticket office. You pay 7 Euros and given 2 Euros back when you return your key. Lockers are a decent size, enough room for a couple of rucksacks.
The waterpark itself was really good, with a good range of slides. There was enough choice for all different ages and levels of braveness!!
Sometimes you had to queue for the slides but most of the time it was very straight forward and quick to the front. Really only the slides that required a rubber ring had any queues.
We had some food whilst there, which was reasonably priced. 7.50 Euros for a Club Sandwich and Fries for example.
Return bus times are written on a whiteboard in the entrance and the park also announce warnings on the park speakers 15 minutes before pickup.
Overall we really enjoyed the water park. Decent value for money, clean and tidy and some good slides!!...
