Aithrio — Restaurant in Municipality of Lavreotiki

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant doesn't have a designated parking lot, but we found a spot to park on a street in the rear of the restaurant. Looks like parking is open as long as there isn't a no parking sign nearby.

We had a great lunch. We wanted to sample a bunch of different things and had a chance to do so because the restaurant allowed us to make combinations -- 50/50 fried Courgettes (zucchini) and Aubergines (eggplant) and the souvlaki plate with 2 chicken and 2 pork. We are staying close to the village and wandered down on a quiet Monday evening. Our waiter spoke great English and filled us in on the menu. I had the kebab plate, which consisted of 4 super tasty kebabs on a soft pitta with juicy tomatoes, very mild red onions and chips. It came with a tzatziki dip. My wife had the spaghetti carbonara, which was also very tasty. Our food was freshly made, and they were generous portions. Maybe it was this bad because we were here off season. It felt like we weren't welcome from the first moment we arrived there, the attitude was weird and the service felt forced. We ordered 2 portions of souvlaki to go, the pork one was fine but the chicken one didn't even taste or have the mouth feel of chicken, no idea what it could be.
