El Greco Cafe is an absolute delight! Nestled in a charming location, this spot is perfect for a relaxing break during your visit to the area. The coffee is truly amazing — rich, aromatic, and clearly made with care.
One of the standout treats was the Cretan goat’s milk ice cream. It’s unlike anything we’ve tasted before — creamy, refreshing, and absolutely phenomenal. A must-try if you’re visiting!
We also had the cheese and ham toast, which was incredibly satisfying and delicious. Simple yet bursting with flavor, it was the perfect snack to go along with our drinks.
Adding to the charm, the museum attached to the cafe is free to enter and made for a lovely cultural stop. It was such a nice surprise to find a place where you can enjoy both art and a tasty bite in one visit.
The lady running the restaurant was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Her warmth really made us feel at home.
