Del Mar — Restaurant in Municipality of Markopoulo Mesogaias

This place is amazing and has a great vibe. However, the service is very poor. You can easily spot between 4-5 employees at the bar and cash, but only 1 or 2 waiters / waitresses and they are perhaps not enough to service the customers. I have seen a table of 4 ladies who politely approached the waitress 3 times to accelerate their order, but the waitress keeps saying ok to the girl who is trying to get her order in a rather dismissive way. For a place that big and only opens during summer and has that many employees, tbe service should much better and more efficient. One time, we came to have brunch around 1:40 PM and the waitress told us that breakfast cannot be served after 2 PM, we told her that we will order before 2 but she kept serving other tables and ignored us until it became 2:05 and then she said we cannot serve you breakfast now. I was very upset and left the place telling her that it was her fault because she knew we wanted breakfast and ignored us until breakfast could not be served anymore. Very nice place for clubbing, chilling and eat right at the beach. Nice crowd and super service. Delicious white house dressing and sandwiches, cool da lass and so on. We had a great breakfast and Lunch there. Sometimes it is better to make a reservation. Right at the beach with a beautyful few on the bay though glass and a wonderful patio terrasse in the warm season. You have a modern long bar right side by side to the restaurant tables and a separate cosy chill seating area. Clean and modern toilette. It was a little noisy for my mom and she didnt like the cigarette smoke. But our waiter made it all up to us with their very warm and professional service. I am rather positively biased about the placed but anyway. Nice place, with an unblocked view of the sea and seaside stretchers available during summer season. Fair wine list and a good variety of available spirits and cocktails. The cuisine has a rather modern approach. Breakfast and brunch choises. They also serve a small variety of very tasteful main dishes based on various proteins, and few vegi-friendly choises. The choco-caramelo dessert is really worth trying. Fairly priced and with friendly personnel. Music choices could be better but with the view they offer it is the last thing that I pay attention too.
