Ammos Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Markopoulo Mesogaias

My family and I ate here today. The restaurant was basically empty and we could have sat anywhere we wanted but they denied us a table that we wanted to sit because we were with a 4 and 7 year old. They told us everything was reserved. We ended up sitting at another table. We ordered a few appetizers. Everything tasted great. We really wanted to order lobster and langostines and champagne but because they denied us the table we just wanted to eat and leave. It was so hot and so uncomfortable and there were ashes falling into our food from all the wildfires. If you have children do not come here. To the owner, SHAME ON YOU and your staff! Nice looking Place. Beautiful Beach. The service however is lacking. Some of the staff are very unhelpful and embrace the “not my problem not my job” attitude. During our stay the speakers started playing an extreamly loud ear deafening sound. The only staff member present at the time didn’t seem to care. Upon telling him to do something about the, at this point painful, soundbombardement which we had to endure he said something along the lines of: “ I don’t know what to do”. We then had to give him the glorious idea of asking someone who knows what to do for help. It’s such a shame the food was phenomenal. The view is perfect. Service was diabolical. There was four or five waiters standing at the entrance or walking around not doing much, the one in the picture had way too much smirk attitude, it’s not even that busy as you can see from the picture. To get one glass of wine while I was waiting for my late lunch order, it took over 20 minutes and I only got it because I went up and asked why I could not have it, if you are not that busy.
