As seafood lovers we couldn’t but visit kalos yalos after viewing reviews and positive recommendations by friends. We booked a table for four on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was really full but a good table waited for us.Service was fast despite the peak time which gave them the first credit. Pasta with shrimps and another with clawfish were delicious. Same wise the fried mussels and garlic sauce. Salad with moccarela and orange juice just nice. But marida came into pieces, was not fresh and consecutively not tasty. The waiter surprisingly replied that this happened because fish was too juicy! He brought another marida, deep fried, which had exactly the same issue. We didn’t touch it and when we were asked, we clearly said that there is no case any fresh fish to break into pieces while fried. Our kids enjoyed their meal but we left almost hungry. The restaurant was recently renovated. The new decoration gives it a cleaner appearance, and there are new facilities making it friendlier towards disabled people. Also, the front now doesn't reach the edge of the the sea anymore as it used to be, which might be seen as a "con" by some, but it is in accordance with the local regulations.

The food quality is typical with what one might expect of a traditional greek fish tavern. This isn't too say it's bad, quite the contrary, one would have to be strict to point out flaws. The staff is polite, plentiful and always there if you require assistance with anything.
