Near the port of Porto Rafti, Kasap reignites the trading spirit of the ancient times. With a variety of meats from around the world, it's difficult not to please the most demanding palate. Upon entering the first thing to notice is the music. Jazz lounge tones fill the place setting a calm and cozy atmosphere; an ideal setting to be with friends or family. The service was professional, polite, patient and helpful. They took the time to thoroughly answer our questions on the ingredients of most dishes (allergies), cooking of the meats, and drinks. Being in a group of eight, we ordered salads, appetizers, burgers and steaks. In other words we tried a fair subset of the menu. The tavuk and kasap salads were flavorful, perfectly composed and of a fair portion. Sweet and sour sauces with Anatolian tones dressed the salads contributing to the kaleidoscope of flavors. As far as the appetizers are concerned, we ordered lamb and Smyrnaic meatballs, fried beef liver (Arnaut), and fried eggs on fries. They were all delightful except for the fried eggs, which were a bit overfried and not runny as it would have been expected from such an appetizer. The burgers were big and delicious --- a great alternative for a less expensive experience at Kasap. Burgers and salads alone would have been a great combination for dinner, but let me get to the steaks. We ordered five steaks: aged chuck eye (σπαλομπριζόλα), wagyu short-ribs (στηθοπλευρά), Picanha and Skirt Black Angus, and pork pancetta steak. Half of us went with a medium cooking and the rest with well done. The steaks were perfectly cooked according to our preferences and cut in real time in front of us. The medium steaks were pink and juicy inside, whereas the well done ones were thoroughly dry without any trace of pink. Thus, do not worry if you don't like a pink steak because the well done cooking is what you need, however if you really want to experience the true flavor of the stake a medium rare / medium cooking is advised. Last but not least, after we more or less succeeded in finishing "everything", two desserts (a katmer and kiounefe) appeared out of the blue. We didn't order them, they were given to us for free. We were all full to the brim. Did we eat them? Oh god yes. Katme, made of phyllo dough that sandwiches masticha ice-scream and pistachios is a dessert made in heaven. Overall, Kasap is a great restaurant that totally worths a visit. If you like meat, this is the place for you. Even if you don't want to spend a lot on the pricey prime steaks, Kasap offers a delicious variety of salads appetizers and burgers, all in reasonable prices.

Despite it being a steak house, their full range of dishes is exquisite: starters, salads and high quality, sumptuous meat dishes. What really surprised me though (as a sourdough enthusiast) was their dough, in their Lebanese lahmacun, their "peinirly", their traditional pizza and their out of the box pistachio phyllo pastry desert, just when you thought things couldn't get any better! The environment evokes a sense of freedom, high ceilings and unobstructed views all around. Kasap is not just a visit when you are in the area, it's our destination!

The food was very disappointing. The breaded chicken had no flavor at all, and the tartare looked unappetizing and was impossible to eat – served in huge chunks, nothing like how this dish should be prepared. The prices are completely unjustified for the quality offered. The service was also underwhelming, with staff acting condescending. Definitely not a place I would recommend – neither tasty nor affordable. Best to avoid.

The food was very disappointing. The breaded chicken had no flavor at all, and the tartare looked unappetizing and was impossible to eat – served in huge chunks, nothing like how this dish should be prepared. Φαγαμε χτες στο Kasap Steak House.Ξεκιναμε με τον χωρο.Πολυ ομορφη διακοσμιση,ανετος χωρος αναυπατικες οι θεσεις τα τραπεζια μασιφ ξυλο τα μαχαιροπιρουνα μιας ποιοτητας αρκετα καλης πιατα ποτηρια ολα πολυ ωραια.Παμε στο προσωπικο.Ευγενικο υπερβολικα εξυπηρετικο σε βαθμο που καμια στιγμη γινεται και λιγο ενοχλητικο.Δεν προλαβαινεις να αδειασεις το πιατο σου και ερχονται και στο παιρνουν εσυ μπορει να να τσιμπολογας να συζητας κατι με την παρεα σου και επειδη αδειασε ενα πιατακι με ενα μεζε ξαφνικα εμφανιζεται ο σερβιτορος απο το πουθενα και παιρνει το πιατο χωρις πολλες πολλες ερωτησεις μερικες φορες.Σε καποιους αυτο μπορει να αρεσει σε μερικους οχι.Τελος παντων παμε παρακατω.Η μουσικη σε πολυ καλα επιπεδα δεν σε ενοχλει μπορεις να μιλας ανετα και να μην ενοχλεισαι.Παμε στα του φαγητου τωρα.Πριν παω ειχα διαβασει τις κριτικες του μαγαζιου και ειχα δει και τον καταλαγο.Καπου καπου ο κοσμος εχει δικιο.Οι μεριδες ειναι ακριβες και το μεγεθος δεν ανταπεξερχεται στη τιμη.Οτιδηποτε παραγγειλεις απο τα ορεκτικα ειναι κοντα στα 10 ευρω και πανω και δεν ειναι κατι το ιδιαιτερο σε γευσεις.Πχ κολοκυθοκεφτεδες ηταν αψητοι και φετα αν ειχε μεσα ηταν αφαντη αλλα απο τι φαινεται δεν πρεπει να ειχε καθολου.Στο πιατο ειχε 6 κολοκυθοκεφτεδες που ηταν στη γραμμωση μαλλον γιατι το παχος του ηταν λιγοτερο απο ενα εκατοστο και γευστικα τπτ το ιδαιτερο η τιμη παρακαλω στα 9 ευρω.Πηραμε πατατες με αυγο που εχουν μεσα και σουτζουκι.Το σουτζουκι επαιζε κρυφτο το ψαχνες με μικροσκοπιο και εννοειται η μεριδα με το ζορι φτανει για ενα ατομο,γευστικα κατι μετριο τα αυγα πρεπει ναναι το μικροτερο μεγεθος που κυκλοφορει στο εμποριο και οι πατατες μεσα στο λαδι δεν ηταν καθολου τραγανες.Αυτο κανει 9.80 ευρω.Πηραμε και ραφιολια παριανα ειχε μεσα 4 ραφιολια που οκ γευστικα ηταν παρα πολυ ωραιο αλλα θα μπορουσε να κανει λιγοτερο απο 8.80 που κανει.Παμε στα κυριως πιατα.Μπιφτεκι μοσχαρισιο.Σε μεγεθος δυο μικρα μπιφτεκια τιμη 15 ευρω αλλα γευστικα ηταν απο αλλο πλανητη.Παρα πολυ ωραιο μπιφτεκι ενιωθες την καπνα ηταν πολυ ωραιο γευστικα με τα μπαχαρικα του χωρις να πνιγουν την γευση του κρεατος.Το κοτοπουλο σις επισης απο αλλο πλανητη ειναι οτι καλυτερο εχω φαει σε κοτοπουλο στηθος γευστικα.Και σε αυτο ενιωθες την καπνα και την μαριναδα.Ηταν τελειο.στα 13 ευρω που κανει ειναι βαλιου φορ μανει.Παμε στο 3ο πιατο ενα μπεργκερ Signature που γευστικα απο τι ειπε ο φιλος μου ηταν παρα πολυ ωραιο αλλα για τα 16 ευρω που κανει θες και δευτερο για να πεις οτι χορτασες.Μπεργκερ ειναι ρε παιδια για το χεις στα 16 ευρω ειναι υπερβολη.Πηραμε και αλλα 3 πιατα αλλα επειδη δεν τα τρωω δεν μπορω να εχω αποψη σε αυτα τα παιδια που τα φαγαν ειπαν οτι ηταν πολυ ωραια αλλα και παλι τσιμπημενα και ποσοτητες μικρες.Εν κατακλειδι αφησαμε 200 ευρω 6 ατομα και δεν ειχαμε χορτασει.Θα ξαναπηγαινα για να φαω το κοτοπουλο και το μπιφτεκι και να δοκιμασω...
