Wagamama Golden Hall — Restaurant in Municipality of Marousi

Very interesting Japanese "fusion" restaurant. This one ia located at the top of the "Golden Hall" mall, its position doesn't make it a too chaotic place where to eat though. I added the word "fusion" mainly because they do tend to swap things around here and here and most of its recipes aren't really that authentic, which is a pity because the base ingredients and preparations they use are fresh and tasty.

The sushi was assembled unevenly, but the salmon was quite good, I would recommend the uramaki rolls over the nigiri, but even considering that, out of all food available I wouldn't prefer the sushi over the bowls of "ramen", which lacked the proper noodles but presented a very tasty broth and some juicy toppings and the curry dishes.

The overall experience was nice, not something I would complain, and even lacking the authenticity of true Japanese flavours and cousine, the food was good and prices relatively fair/in the norm. That being said, if you carve for sushi, aim for "Koi" restaurant chain, if you want something "different" enjoy your time...

I am a ramen enthousiast and have eaten a lot of different ramen dishes in various countries, including at Wagamama in the Hague and at an airport.

This here was not the "rich chicken broth" ramen, it was a half-decent chickensoup with a soft broth that lacks in flavour and consistency, with some noodles in it.

Also, it is delivered in a tall & narrow cup which makes eating much more difficult the more you go towards the bottom.

All this while the price point is higher than it is in some ramen places in the Netherlands where the quality was far better and the salaries are 3x compared to the ones here in Greece.

Utterly disappointing.

Food was average but had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier. As a restaurant located in a premium Mall it was very unpleasant to experience unprofessional behavior from their staff who didn't know that I can pay with my golden hall gift card and lied that they are not included in the list. I went through the process to show them that they are, which is mainly the reason we decided to go to this reataurant, and they didn't even apologize for their mistake but demanded us to pay the difference by cash - which is not how gift cards work (this is how paper...
