Traditional Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Milopotamos

I don't know where all the good reviews came from. This place was terrible. The meat was of parts that you would normally throw away, on the outside it was burned while also being raw inside. We (2 people) only received two forks and one unsharp knife. Even the drinks in the glass bottle were about to expire and lost most of the carbonic acid. Can not recommend this place in the slightest. Say away. Last but not least there was a weird 1€ position on the bill. As we did not want to start arguing, we paid (of course no tip) and left. They should definitely look for another profession as cooking is...

Me and our family visited this taverna after trying many restaurants in the area.

It was honestly the best restaurant we had visited in Crete. Very reasonably priced, fresh, delicious food and fantastic service. I highly recommend the meals "from the spit" the lamb was absolutely delicious.

A very nice girl served our table I cannot remember her name, she told us her mother made the Moussaka and it was to die for. We came in on the Saturday and re booked for the Sunday it was so good!

Мы посетили эту таверну из-за хороших оценок. Мне понравилась атмосфера,ты чувствуешь себя где-то у бабушки в деревне,но я не люблю чувствовать себя обманутой. Когда мы пришли,то сразу принесли воду,потом мы сделали свой заказ и нам предложили цацики и мы согласились. В итоге вода стоит 1,5€, цацики 4,5€ и хлеб 2€. Я согласна,что это вообще не дорого,но мы это как бы и не заказывали(хотя скажу,что цацики было вкуснее,чем основные блюда). Но по моему опыту в Греции встречают бесплатными закусками и бесплатным узо или десертом в конце. Я просто хотела эта написать,чтоб следующие посетители это знали. Еще на территории очень надоедливые коты,хоть я их и люблю,но они прыгают прям на стул,к тебе на руки и орут очень громко,чтоб ты дал им еды. Из плюсов к пиву подают холодные бокалы.
