We found the restaurant via Google and wanted to try it. It is next to the street and you can park alongside the street. The restaurant itself lies a little bit elevated. At the beginning wer were a little bit sceptical, as we were the only guests. The owner greeted us and was very friendly. He took our order an we took a look around. You can see the bay from the terrace. The restaurant itself looks a bit "older", but we liked it that way. It was not a fancy restaurant, it was down to earth and looked like restaurants when we were on holiday with our parents (end 1990s, beginning 2000s). So it brougt back nice memories. We startet with fried zucchinis and pita bread. Both were the best we had so far. I've ordered a coke and got a glas of ice and a slice of lemon with it. Just a small thing but i liked it a lot. In most of the other restaurants there is no ice or lemon. The next dish was a tomato and cucumber salad with some olives and a chicken souvlaki with french fries, pita bread and onions. The fresh grilled chicken was very good. The french fries were a little bit to soft for my taste. The portion sice is ok. In my oppinion it is good that you can have a appetizer and still finish your main dish. In other restaurants you have to choose, starter or main dish as each dish is quite big. In total we were very happy with our dinner and can...
Read moreThe cheese pies were fantastic, it had feta cheese in it and gave it a nice sour, cheesy , and delectable taste. The bread is toasted with herbs and lightly drenched with olive oil, slightly charred. Alot of other places serve sour dough bread plain, while i've been here in Greece, so this is a nice change. The fried mushrooms were sliced and fried, making it feel like i was eating potato chips. The grilled spicy sausage had a nice presentation to it, it was well assorted. The sausage felt like a herbed hotdog, but it was still really good and i like how the chef cooked it. The fries tasted good. The chicken souvlaki was good, not as good as the appetizers though. This restaurant overlooked the city. The view...
Read moreWe ate some Taramosalata (fish roe salad), Greek salad and fried cuttlefish. The Taramosalata was nice, though a bit little for the price (we had better and more of it at other places). The greek salad was ok as well, though the Feta was a bit dull, without the typical aroma. The fried cuttlefish was ok as well, but nothing special. Given the fact, that even bread and olive oil are not included in the price, this restaurant is quite pricy, counting in the rather little portions and mediocre food. Plus, the waiter was too busy to react to us, asking for the check, even when only two tables were occupied in total. Instead I had to go inside to...
