Τ'ακρογιάλι — Restaurant in Municipality of Monemvasia

this restaurant was recommended to me when I got there it was very busy with a big party finishing off I ordered the anchovies grilled...Horta.. fries bread and Tsipouro..... There was a little miscommunication with the anchovies they came baked not grilled. ..but they did grill them for me and were very good.....and the Horta was rather dehydrated... the fries were good and the waiters recommendation for Tsipouro was...

Good food, Nice view and staff. Price is correct.

However, we were disappointed to note an extra 9 euros on the final bill. After 30 minutes trying to figure out to which dish it could correspond, we figured out if was probably the initial « free start dish » the staff brings you at the beginning.. Unless it was an honest (yet unlucky) mistake ?! in any case… it did slightly...

Great tavern! The view is stunning. The staff was super friendly and very fast. The dishes were all excellent. The mackerel with the marmelade sauce was delicious as well as the aubergine salad. Sparta beer was also a very pleasant surprise. The toilets were clean and generally we had a very smooth experience. I would like to go back...
